“What’s distinctive about this Foundation is the breadth of what they provide for their children...thanks to the dedication
of its founders, and parents, their youngsters are being brought up to be
the best of British.”
Jack Straw,Former MP and Cabinet Minister
Central to AHF is the Education services that nurture confi dent and inspiring individuals whoare then able to positively interact and engage with various segments of society and yet be proud of their faith.
“There is a lot of thinking at Abu Hanifah Foundation at not just what
to learn, but also how to learn it and how to apply that knowledge…The legacy of Islamic learning, the
world still benefits from. Abu Hanifah Foundation is adding on to that.” Dr Shaykh Mahmood Chandia,
Senior Lecturer -University of Central Lancashire
“We had a very engaging evening with the staff and
students of AHF. It was a clear demonstration of a model that works and its success is evident from the outcomes inside and outside the classroom and the energy that is unmissable when
you walk around the school. We pray that Allah accepts
and blesses this dedicated and inspiring work. Ameen”

“I expected to see children fatigued and disengaged after a day at
mainstream school. The reality was quite the opposite with happy, smiling
children of all ages all displaying an eagerness to learn. Of course it is the
breadth of that education and the holistic growth you wish to achieve that
are the most impressive elements of your provision. To hear young people
speak with such humility and respect for those less fortunate who they
have helped was particularly striking. Encouraging this social conscience in
addition to academic and physical growth bodes so well for the successful
future integration of these children into a modern society, at ease with
itself, and welcoming of all cultures and traditions.”

AHF FC is our multi-award winning, FA Chartered, local grassroots football club. The club focuses on the development of hundreds of children, boys and girls, in a fun and enjoyable manner, which is based on mutual respect for each other, opponents, coaches, referees, parents and spectators.
Although we place a high importance on developing the children’s football skills, we feel it is as important to develop them as people. Children will always be encouraged to be respectful, take ownership of their learning, and develop leadership skills to help build them as positive citizens.
Our club is built on three key values. The fi rst is how we play, for the children to all develop as individuals, to be creative and brave on the ball. The second is coaching, based on skills, that is in the DNA throughout all the teams. The third is most important and the purpose of our existence: to show who we are, our true values and character, in a public arena.

“There’s some amazing things going on in grassroots football all over the country and Abu Hanifah Foundation is a great example of that. They have shown great dedication and commitment, promoting some superb ideas in the community,
and I can’t speak too highly of what they have achieved over the last couple of
years. There’s some great people involved there, and they should be congratulated.”
John McGregor, Chairman, East Lancashire Football Alliance
“The breath of fresh air that AHF FC has brought to local grassroots football
is absolutely tangible and other clubs have, as a result of seeing the culture of the club, decided to embrace this
new model of junior football that puts the enjoyment of children at its absolute
core. Long may the club continue to grow and exert its influence throughout
the local football family.”

“Having gained the Respect Award from the FA… whilst gaining charter
standard and hosting a football unites event to bring communities together,
the club still adheres to its core principles of football development in a fun and relaxed atmosphere…Their
hard work has not gone unnoticed and has been acknowledged by
professional clubs such as Manchester City. AHF are working closely to strengthen these links to provide
seamless development opportunities within the community to children who
are from differing backgrounds. Whilst I have observed their growth,
the officials are always open to dialogue and I’ve seen first-hand children wanting to go to training
rather than going on family holidays. Again a testament to the running of the club by competent professionals whose
ultimate goal is for children to learn whilst enjoying their football. I have no hesitation in nominating AHF FC for club of the year as this club epitomises what
grassroots football is all about. Here’s to an amazing year at AHF FC.”

AHF provides a variety of social and community activities that includes the Mothers & Toddlers Club, Youth Club, Summer Club, Reading Club and a Community Library.
By providing activities and entertainment our aim is to take the youth off the streets and protect them from drugs, crime and violence.
The notion of giving, and especially looking after others is entrenched within AHF. We work on a variety of charitable projects that develops the local community and looks after marginalised and vulnerable people of all faithsor none.
We also partner with leading humanitarian organisations to support and sponsor Orphan children in order to help them get the chance to live a healthy, productive and dignifi ed life.
