•Only four membership tiers

•Tiers based on membership benefits and need for service level agreements for server uptime and support – discount for non-profits

•Early adopter discount

•Membership fees to start in 2013

•Generate ~$2.5 million/year

• Grants: Mellon ($45,000); VIVO ($25,000); NSF ScSIP ($260,000);

• Loans - $1.2 million pledged end of 2011

• Loans cover expenses until membership fees start end of 2012/start of 2013
