G.I.B Dispo-Cockpit Forecast supports

the process of decentralized planningand offers consolidation functions with-

in a central planning monitor. The

application regulates and controls the

transfer to the ERP system or to alterna-

tive subsystems. In addition, several

different features in the field of forecast

and monitoring are provided and sup-

ported by workflow, traffic light and

alarm functionalities.

Our sales planning and forecast toolG.I.B Dispo-Cockpit Forecast is fast and

easy to operate and thus unfolds a high

degree of efficiency. The rolling sales

planning is used to optimize production

plans. G.I.B Dispo-Cockpit Forecast

permits a prompt realization of opti-

mum forecast procedures in order to

increase your performance and to opti-

mize your stocks.

The forecast models provided by G.I.B

Dispo-Cockpit Forecast allow accurateprognoses and a correspondingly reli-

able planning accuracy. Requirements

are calculated on the basis of historical

business volume data, causal factors,

marketing campaigns, market intelli-

gence and sales targets. These pro-

cesses are supported by algorithms

according to Croston or Winters, by

median method etc. depending on the

course of the examined time series

(control signals).

Thanks to the embedded upload and

download functionality it is possible to

integrate data from other SAP systems

into requirements calculation. Further-

more, important information from non-

SAP systems can also be included into

G.I.B Dispo-Cockpit Forecast. By means

of these functions for example even

smaller sales companies, which do not

yet use a consistent SAP system, areenabled to integrate their forecast

requirements into consolidation.

Via corresponding download proce-

dures data may be collected cyclically

by means of a planning calendar. These

can be made available in respective

aggregations by suppliers in form of

e-mail, CSV-files or on market places. In

G.I.B Dispo-Cockpit Kanban addresses

companies already employing Kanbanprocesses or considering a Kanban

implementation. An individually defin-

able decision tree will guide you to the

optimum Kanban process.

By means of a user-defined question-

naire the process check allows to deter-

mine the Kanban suitability of a material.

As a result of the check you will obtain

a list of all Kanban processes which are

applicable to the material.

In order to determine suitable materials

for Kanban more than one perspectivewill be necessary. The XYZ/XYZ analy-

sis classifies materials of the G.I.B

Dispo-Cockpit Kanban at the level of

plant, material, cost center/supply area

direct classification (current indicator)

Controlling Circuit

Kanban represents a method of replenishment control following the push-pull principle and basedupon the requirement of consuming units in theproduction process. Control cycles on cost center/ supply area level constitute the core element of thiskind of production control.

is available as well. Without any prob-lems topics such as conversion, release

and print of planned orders, scheduling,

confirmation, exception messages, miss-

ing parts situations, global availability,

COGI processing etc. can be detected,utilized and handled. Because of the

integration into the SAP system data will

always be up-to-date and online.
