Preteen Registration The Preteen Committee is looking forward to assisting with children ages 10-13 at the upcoming Annual Conference at Indiana Wesleyan University. This facility has several buildings, nearby streets and other restricted areas. Due to these potential hazards, we are attempting to channel some of their energy and provide a way for the children to get to know others from across the brotherhood. Parents and grandparents are welcome to attend all Preteen events and activities.

Supervision of children is expected at all times and places during the Conference. Chaperones will be available only during the blocks of time and in designated preteen areas shown on the schedule. A parent or a responsible adult must be with your child if they are in the designated area outside of the posted blocks of time. Rip-sticks, roller blades, skateboards, bicycles, etc. are not permitted to be used at the Conference site. IWU is requiring a liability waiver form be signed for each preteen and young folk. You can put all your family and others you are bringing on one liability waiver form (list additional children at the bottom of the waiver). Please fill out the boxes below and the form on the following page for your preteens and young folks and return together with your registration information. Please return all completed forms by March 31st to: Conference Registration

P.M.B. 306 3900 Pelandale Avenue, Suite 420 Modesto, CA 95356

There will be a separate designated play area for use by young families and their children under 10, but no activities, equipment, or supervision will be provided. A parent must be present at all times. Child’s Name Age Pre-existing Medical Condition 1. 2. 3. 4.

We are planning to get enough parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts and friends to help chaperone so that many can share in the privilege of working with our young people. Volunteers are needed to assist with the preteen activities. If you are able to help out, please click the following link: www.ogbbc.org/PreteenHelp or contact Scot & Deborah Boone at [email protected] - call or text @ 209-996-1068.

2018 IWU Campus Lodging Reservation Information On-Campus Dorm Lodging: Dorm buildings at IWU are arranged in several different layouts. Dorm rooms have two single beds per room. Many dorm rooms share a bathroom with one other room. Several dorm buildings have pod-style dorm suites consisting of two, three or four dorm rooms with one shared bath (some baths have multiple sinks/stalls/showers), and a common living space. Some dorm buildings do not have elevators. To see floorplans of the different dorm layouts, visit the IWU website at www.indwes.edu and search “Residence Halls”. If you have special lodging requests, please note them and we will do our best to accommodate you. We are very pleased with the quality of the dorm lodging offered by IWU, and appreciate that no matter which dorm layout you are housed in, all dorm rooms have adjoining bathrooms.

Dorm Bedding: All dorm lodging includes bedding that will be in your dorm when you arrive. The bedding packets include 2 flat sheets, 1 blanket, 1 pillow, 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel, 1 wash cloth and a small bar of soap.

Young Folks Dorms: Young folks boys and girls will be placed in separate dorm buildings. We do not plan to place any families in the YF dorm buildings. Indiana Wesleyan has a strict 11:00 pm – 7:00 am quiet time rule. Parents, please be aware of your children’s lodging plans and encourage them to be respectful of IWU and dorm chaperones.

Dorm Supervision Volunteers: We are requesting that all parents who have YFs staying in the YFs dorms please volunteer for one 3-hour shift for dorm supervision. To sign-up as a volunteer for dorm supervision, please click the following link: www.ogbbc.org/YFDormSupervision

Pricing: IWU charges per person, per night, and for safety and fire reasons they request that only small children be placed on the floor. A discounted rate is also offered for children staying in the same suite of rooms as their parents.
