garu and Trustee Smt. Nara Brahmani garu took part in NTR Trust’s 20th Anniversary celebrations and the

Annual Day celebrations of NTR Model School and College. Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu garu encouraged

students to take up the opportunities available and be prepared to be leaders in the coming generations. He

congratulated NTR Trust team and appreciated their efforts in the service of Telugu people.

2. We are proud to announce that NTR Trust's Hyderabad Blood Bank has received NABH accreditation for the 3rd

consecutive time! NABH accreditation is the highest quality accreditation for Blood Banks. NTR Trust Blood Bank

at Hyderabad is the only standalone Blood Bank in the twin Telugu states with NABH Accreditation, as on March

1, 2018. This accreditation proves that NTR Trust Blood Banks are committed to global standards for safe Blood.

3. NTR Trust’s Hyderabad Blood Bank completed 10 years in the service of Humanity and in saving precious lives.

who have been part of this journey!

4. NTR Trust is proud to announce that we have been awarded the prestigious GuideStar India Transparency Key

award for 2018 and have joined India’s largest pool of credible NGOs after undergoing a rigorous due diligence

process. GuideStar India is India’s largest and most reliable online information repository with 7800 NGOs.

Key Activities:

donors voluntarily came forward to donate blood. We would like to thank the entire Sundarapu Yuvasena team & Green Duniya, Organic Food Store Team for providing an opportunity to save more lives.

4. A free health check-up camp at Bonekal, Khammam district was organized by NTR Trust in collaboration with local Doctors. 364 residents came for the health check-up. Doctors advised them various medicines and consultation during the camp.

5. NTR Trust in collaboration with TDP Leader Shri Pilla Venkatarao garu, Vishakapatanam organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp on the occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Sri.Pilla Barath Kumar garu(Son of Sri.Pilla

Venkatarao garu) who passed into eternity 3 years ago. 112 donors voluntarily came forward to donate blood.

6. NTR Trust organized a FREE one-day medical camp at Edulabad village, Medchal district, Telangana state in

collaboration with Vignan's Institute of Management and Technology for Women. The objective of the camp was

to do a General Checkup like pulse, Eye Checkup, Blood Pressure, Height, Weight, BMI and to provide

information regarding diet, exercise and weight control. Free medicines have been provided to patients and

doctors advised

them to follow up with their local doctors or public health centers.

7. Dr. Hitesh Kumar, Senior Manager-Transfusion Medicine, NTR Trust Blood Banks delivered a Guest lecture at

State Conference, ISBTI ( Indian Society of Blood Transfusion and Immunohematology) for the 4th consecutive

time. Dr.Hitesh addressed the gathering of eminent Blood Bank Heads and Transfusion Medicine specialists in

the

State on " Newer Trends in TTI (Transfusion Transmitted Infections)Screening" with an insight into the World-class Practices in TTI Screening being followed at NTR Trust Blood Banks i.e., Echlia + NAAT (Nucleic Acid Amplification Test) Screening.

8. NTR Trust in collaboration with APSRTC National Mazdoor Union, Waltair Depot organized a Mega Blood Donation Camp in Visakhapatnam. 151 donors voluntarily came forward to donate blood.

9. A free health check-up camp at Medpalli Village, Ibrahimpatnam Constituency, Rangareddy District Telangana was organized by NTR Trust in collaboration with Max Cure Hospital, Netra Eye Institute, Gurunanak Engineering

College & Local Doctors. 198 residents came for the health check-up. Doctors advised them various medicines. 10. NTR Trust in collaboration with KALINGA KOMATI WELFARE ASSOCIATION, M.V.P.Colony, organized a Mega

Blood Donation camp in Visakhapatnam. 76 donors came forward to donate blood to save lives. 11. A free health check-up camp at Shaikpet Village, Jubilee Hills Constituency, Hyderabad District Telangana was

organized by NTR Trust in collaboration with Star Hospital, Premier Hospital, Rise Children Hospital, Human Touch Hospital, Celestee Skin Clinic & Local Doctors. 1500 residents came for the health check-up.

12. A Blood donation camp was organized by NTR Trust at Divis Lab, Visakhapatnam & Sunrise Hospital, Kakinada. 622 donors came forward to donate blood to save lives.

13. NTR Trust in collaboration with NRI Medical College & General Hospital & local Hospitals organized Free Medical Camp at Bellamkondavari Palem Village, Macherla Mandal, Guntur district. 281 residents came for the health check-up. Doctors advised them various medicines and consultation during the camp.

14. Dr.Hitesh Kumar-Senior Manager- Transfusion Medicine- NTR Trust Blood Banks & K.Madhavi- NTR Trust Hyderabad Blood Bank Admin attended a Symposium on "Transfusion Trends" by International speakers like Mr. Joe Vincent-National Reference laboratory, Australia and others. It included 40 invited participants from South Indian Transfusion Medicine & 2 invited speakers from 3 countries. In the Networking session Mr.Joe Vincent had an interaction with Dr.Hitesh and he was highly impressed with the Global standards with regard to the Quality of Blood at NTR Trust Blood Banks.

15. A free health check-up camp at Habsiguda Village, Uppal Constituency, Rangareddy District Telangana was organized by NTR Trust in collaboration with Lions Club & Local Doctors. 138 residents came for the health check-up. Doctors advised them various medicines and consultation during the camp.

16. A Blood donation camp was organized by NTR Trust at the following locations in Visakhapatnam 1) Srinagar Colony, 2) Sivaji Nagar, & 3) Vangali village, Visakhapatnam. We would like to thank the entire Sathya Sai Seva Samithi team, Abhayam Society & Vivekananda Spoorthy Team for providing an opportunity to save more lives. 79 donors came forward to donate blood to save lives.

17. A free health check-up camp at Kothacheruvu Village, Puttaparthi Constituency, Anantapur district, Andhra Pradesh State was organized by NTR Trust in collaboration with Siri Hospital Anantapur 1777 residents came for the health check-up. Doctors advised them various medicines and consultation during the camp.

EDUCATION

Key Activities:

1. Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh & Founder Trustee of NTR Trust Sri Nara Chandrababu Naidu garu inaugurated the 20th anniversary of NTR Trust celebrations and also took part in the Annual Day celebrations of NTR model school and college. After the inaugural he addressed the gathering. He reminisced his memories with late Sri NTR. He described NTR as his inspiration. He remembered his memories of the NTR model school campus which was his own school of learning about politics. He encouraged students to take up the opportunities available and be prepared to be leaders in the coming generations. He congratulated NTR Trust team and appreciated their efforts in the service of Telugu people.

2. A well-equipped fully operational Digital Computer Lab for training poor and orphan children has been inaugurated by Deputy Speaker of AP legislative assembly, Sri Mandali Buddhaprasad garu and NTR Trust's Managing Trustee Smt. Nara Bhuvaneshwari Madam. Shri. Lakshmikantham Garu-District Collector-Krishna District; Smt. Rajyalakshmi - DEO - krishna district; Ms. Bhavana Singh-DGM-Huwaei India and other guests graced the occasion. Shri.T. Vishnu Vardhan-CEO-NTR Trust ; Shri. Mohanrao-COO- Education-NTR Trust; Shri. NS Prasad- Director-Education-NTR Trust and NTR Trust Team welcomed the dignitaries and guests. The Digital Computer Lab is developed with the 100% contribution and support from Huawei. NTR Trust team thanked Huawei for its Support towards the development of young orphan school children. The students showcased their talent as part of the Annual Day Celebrations.

Managing Trustee Smt. Nara Bhuvaneshwari Madam inaugurating the Digital Computer Lab

3. On the occasion of Women's day celebration - NTR Educational Institutions organized a ‘Women Fun Cycle Rally

and cultural programs by students. In a bid to celebrate the spirit of women and to bridge the gender gap, NTR Educational Institutional students participated in an all-women Cycle rally.

4. NTrust organized - "Mentor The Hero"- an Art Exhibition at " The Park", Somajiguda #Hyderabad to encourage orphan children education. The exhibition was appreciated by Art lovers.

5. Prof. Dr. V.Ganeshan conducted a session on "Positive thinking" to the students of NTR Junior College & Degree College for girls @ Gandipet- Hyderabad. He mentioned that students should open their mind and clear their doubts, they need to be ready to absorb the knowledge and they need to be relaxed before their final exams. He requested students to eliminate negative verbiage from their dialogue.

6. Dr.Hitesh Kumar, Senior Manager-Transfusion Medicine, NTR Trust Blood Banks took a session on Blood Groups & Component therapy to the students of NTR Degree College who are IAS aspirants. The doctor urged the students to be healthy and make Blood Donation a Habit!! He also reiterated that one person can donate at least 150 times in their lifetime. During the session, there were some candid moments. Mr.Mohan Rao Garu, COO-Education-NTR Trust while addressing the undergraduates mentioned that he was the Teacher to Dr.Hitesh during his intermediate and was proud to see him as a Successful Doctor and Head for NTR Trust Blood Banks.

7. NTR Trust organized a WORKSHOP on new teaching methodologies, Inclusive Learning & Annual Syllabus split-up for the teaching staff of NTR Model Schools, (Gandipet, Challapalli & Warangal) This workshop was organized from 25th April 2018 - 28th April 2018 at NTR Trust’s NTR Model School Campus at Gandipet, Hyderabad.

Empowerment & Livelihoods

Key Activities:

1. Course completion Certificates were distributed to the candidates who successfully completed their 2 months of

FREE training in IISC Batch (India International skill centre)at Skill Development Centre (SDC), NTR Trust. Among 7

of the certified candidates, 5 of the candidates got placed in Sodexo, Hotel Monahar & Green Park.

2. Under NTR Trust - Assistant Cook Course - a 2 day Chocolate Making Workshop was conducted. This workshop

offered participants an in-depth experience in all aspects of Chocolate making and business to the budding

chocolatiers. It included - History of Chocolates,Cut, dip & decoration of homemade chocolates and gift packing.

3. Under NTR Trust - Assistant Cook Course - a one day KEBAB & BIRYANI Making Workshop was conducted. This

workshop offered participants many variants of Kebabs & Biryani prepared throughout Asia. It included History

of Kebabs & Biryani, types of Kebabs & Biryani, Correct ingredients. Chef Mr.Vijay Sharma from Novotel

Hotel-Hyderabad effectively conducted this workshop.

4. Shri G.V.Anjaneyulu garu MLA, Vinukonda distributed course completion certificates to the candidates who

successfully completed their 3 weeks of FREE training on Sewing Machine Operator at Skill Development Centre

(SDC), NTR Trust Vinukonda.

5. Freedom Refined Sunflower Oil in association with NTR Trust distributed training completion certificates to the

19 students of "Freedom Self-employment Cookery Workshop" who effectively finished the training and are

interested in starting their own outlets in F&B Sector. The purpose of this course is to support the Youth &

women empowerment by advancing their participation in F&B sectors to build robust economies & to enhance

their quality of life.

6. NTR Trust organized a Job Drive in collaboration with Gati Limited at NTR Trust Skill Development Centre (SDC) in

Hyderabad. 18 aspirants participated,14 of them got selected, and 9 of them Joined.

Language Arts & Culture

Key Highlights

1. NTR Trust in collaboration with Vijayawada Book Festival Society and Department of Language and Culture -

Government of Andhra Pradesh have initiated a state-wide cultural event - Navyandhra Pusthaka Sambaralu

from April 27th to May 6th at PVR Boys High school, Ongole. There was a discussion on "Telugu Language

Development" - at the Ongole Book Festival. The program was chaired by Nukathoti Ravi Kumar and attended by

Jyothivasu,Kurra Prasad Babu,SriramakavachanSagar, Sk. Rahmanuddin, Dr.Mallavarapu Rajeswara Rao,

Dugginapalli Erra Sastry. In his speech Mr.Nukathoti Ravi Kumar mentioned that, to develop Telugu language

NTR started "Dravida University" in Kuppam. Famous writer and Teacher Jyothivasu during his speech said that,

in the early stages of the Telugu poetry, Sanskrit words were widely used. Krishna Prasad Babu, spokesperson of

Sri Krishna Devaraya Sahitya Cultural Services, expressed, that "The government has to take action to ensure

that the Telugu language is mandatory. Writer Sri Ramakavacham Sagar cited that ,"The Telugu language is a

powerful language in the world and the current generation is far from the Telugu script". NTR Trust Language Art

Culture, Program Officer- Sk. Rahmanuddin quoted that "No other Indian language has ever worked so hard to

preserve their language like Telugu. We have three thousand blogs, thirty-four internet discussions, & thousands

of Whats-app groups on Telugu literature.

annual income tax returns as a tax-exempt entity and has shared the same in the public domain.

2. NTR Trust holds an awareness camp regarding its activities for the staff of SVBC. NTR Trust conducted an

awareness camp regarding its social activities at SVBC (Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel), Himayat Nagar,

Hyderabad office. All the activities of NTR Trust were discussed along with the Goals of the Trust for the staff of

SVBC. NTR Trust offers services in the following areas and all these services are reachable to every strata of

society without any kind of hindrance. We cover Healthcare, Education, Empowerment & Livelihoods, Sujala,

Arts & Culture and Disaster Response & Relief. Later a 4-page brochure which explains all the social work done

by NTR Trust was distributed to the staff of SVBC. The staff expressed their happiness regarding the relentless

efforts being taken by NTR Trust to serve the society effectively.
