    THOUGHTS FROM BRAD

This week I ran across a poem that is attributed toMother Theresa. The words were written on a wallin her place for children in Calcutta, India. I hopeyou enjoy.

oPeople are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.

o If you are kind, people may accuse you ofselfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.

o If you are successful, you will win someunfaithful friends and some genuine

    enemies. Succeed anyway.

o If you are honest and sincere, people maydeceive you. Be honest and sincereanyway.

o What you spend years creating, others coulddestroy overnight. Create anyway.

o If you find serenity and happiness, some maybe jealous. Be happy anyway.

o The good you do today, will often beforgotten. Do good anyway.

o Give the best you have, and it will never beenough. Give your best anyway.

o In the final analysis, it is between you andGod. It was never between you and them

    anyway.

As I read that, I felt one scripture in particularcomes to mind. Paul shared it with the church at

Colosse. He wrote: And whatever you do,whether in word or deed, do it all in the name ofthe Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Fatherthrough him (Colossians 3:17). Oh church, evenwhen we dont feel like doing the right thinganymore, do it anywayfor we representthe LordJesus Christ to the rest of His creation.

Last week in children's church we learned

about how important out words are. Wordscan hurt people or help people! It aldepends on how we chose to use them.

Encourage your family this week to use yourwords as encouragement to each other.

Proverbs 12:18"The words of the reckless pierce like

swords, but the tongue of the wise bringshealing.

    Volunteers Needed!

There are two areas of service in the churchthat are in need of a leader. One position is

to take responsibility for decorating thechurch at Christmas and Easter. We all enjoy

these special times of the year and your helpwould bring great joy to all.

Also, in order to continue with the traditionof live flowers in the sanctuary during

Christmas and Easter, we are in need of avolunteer or volunteers to take responsibilityfor this ministry. The task includes taking

orders, collecting funds and arranging fordelivery to the church. The sanctuary alwayslooks lovely with flowers; however, we will notbe able to continue if we dont have someone

    to take on this task.

If this sounds like something you would liketo do, please contact Julie Stuck at 654-2409 or e-mail [email protected] as

    soon as possible.

WE EXIST TO Exalt Gods Greatness; Evangelize Gods Work Equip Gods People Express Gods Love through Jesus Christ

    OUR MISSION

    To Love God and Love

    People!

    How Can I Respond Today?

At FACC we look to the Bible for guidance on all

issues. We believe that Gods Word is clear

concerning what a person must do to become a

    Christian.

Trust that Jesus can bring you to salvation. Turn (repent) from the sin in your life. Confess your desire to make Jesus the Lord

    of your life.

Be baptized (immersed) in water for theforgiveness of sins and to receive the Holy

    Spirit into your life.

To make this li fe decision for Chri st, we ask that you

come forward during our commitment song at the

conclusion of the Sunday message. Bapti zed believers

are welcome to become membersat FACC by coming

forward on Sunday morning or by seeing our Senior

Minister to discuss this further. We ask that you

complete a series of Curious classes to help you

better understand what you are committing to as a

    member.
