New Grand Knight for Knights of Columbus
Our Local Knights of Columbus St John Neumann
Council is pleased to announce that Joe Callon has
been elected new Grand Knight effective July 1.
Other new officers elected were Chuck Menk, Dr
Kyle McKenna, Jacob Forester and Gary Lizotte.
Our past Grand Knight, Roger Gibson will now
serve as Deputy Grand Knight. Reelected officers
were David Burton, John and Peter Bergsma, Bob
Isaac and Gerry McKeegan.
All Catholic men are invited to consider becoming
a Knight especially in today’s culture where man-
hood, fatherhood, the family and the Catholic
Church are under attack.

St Lucy Chicken Dinner
St Lucy Parish, Yorkville, will hold its 4th
annual chicken dinner from 11:30am to 3pm,
July 7, at the church hall, St Lucy Ave & Walter
Street. For a $10. donation you can dine in or
carry out a roasted half of a chicken, mashed
potatoes & gravy, green beans and a roll. Bever-
ages are $1. each and desserts will be for sale. A
50/50 raffle and baskets will be raffled.
