The NeoGen Spa System converts nitrogen gas into nitrogen plasma. Plasma is the the fourth state of matter after solid, liquid and gas.

The NeoGen Spa treatments are effective due to the rapid controlled heating of tissue. This occurs as the nitrogen plasma gives up its unique thermal energy to the skin.

Plasma is produced through the combination of nitrogen gas and high frequency radio waves

How many treatments are needed ?It is a one-off treatment when using the high energy and a series of 2-4 treatments if using low energy.

Is the procedure painful ?After treatment, clients feel heat or warmth to the skin indicating that healing and remodelling are taking place. It can be described as a similar feeling to sun mild burn. During treatment it can be a little uncomfortable but local anesthetic cream is used.

What aftercare procedure should be followed ?During the healing phase and several months after treatment, it is recommended that the treatment area be protected using a moisturising sunblock with an SPF of at least 40.

Is there any downtime ?Minimal downtime but skin and patient dependent.

How long will the results last ?The results are long lasting, however it doesn't stop the ageing process so further treatment may be required in 2-3 years.

Apply only skincare or make-up products to the treated area which have been recommended by your skin practitioner. These will be given after treatment to aid and promote the healing process.
