Who fought in battle of The Alamo
Texas Army VS Mexican Army
Texans were led by Williiam B. Travis The Mexican Army was
led by Santa Anna.
The Mexican army vs Texans The Mexican army
climbed ladders to get inside the Alamo and kill
the Texans.
The Texans tried to defend the Alamo but they got outnumbered and the Mexican army
won.
The fight for The AlamoOn February 23, 1836, General Antonio de Santa Anna and his army marched to the Alamo.
On February 24 the Alamo’s commanding officer, William Barret Travis, had sent a messenger to other colonists, asking for supplies and more volunteers.
On March 6, 1836 the battle of the Alamo ended.
On March 12 Houston sent urging people in Texas to leave there homes.

fought for there freedom

The Mexican army had 1,800 men, There were 183 Texans guarding the
Alamo.
The Texans held the Alamo for twelve days
