One of the great things about teaching in the lower secƟon of primary school is that you get to see students move through the learning process of early reading and wriƟng. Well done to the prep boys and girls and the stasupporƟng them through their learning! Prep Building – Watch out next Friday! The prep building construcƟon and associated works are going along at great speed. It is quite amazing how quickly the workers are changing the landscape of the school. Next Friday morning from 6am there will be a crane liŌing the 4 main body secƟons of our new building into place. Believe it or not they plan to be nished by 8am. From there they will be able to complete the remainder of the works around the building to complete our new area. We are very happy with the walkway linking the Prep A Building and B Block. It is going to be a wonderful addiƟon, especially in wet weather. The work has also started on building our new store room under A Block, as well as our new slab for the Dental and Life EducaƟon Van. Vegetable Garden You may have seen that we have relocated the covered area and storage shed down to the vegetable garden area. The covered area will be a great spot for classes to work from and we plan to transform the storage shed into a greenhouse. Wireless Upgrade As the wireless upgrade team move through the school it has been lovely to hear the feedback from teachers saying that 20+ kids are on devices successfully at the one Ɵme. We are probably just over half way through the upgrade now with only a few hiccups along the way. Regards Chris Norris Principal The Inter-house Sports Days will be held in the Term 3. We encourage students to wear their house colour for the Inter-house Sports Day. If you are not sure what house your child is in, please contact the school office: Ph. 41505333 or [email protected] The house logo can be printed onto a shirt supplied by you FREE of charge. If you would like to have this done please place a sheet of newspaper into your child’s clearly named shirt and place into a plastic bag. This will help considerably in the screen printing process. Please hand your shirt into the office by Monday 22 nd June 9am, the printing will be done on this day and no late shirts will be printed.
