From the PrinciPal’s desk The successful ‘Newsletter’ of

CM Dept. has been published and

so, I congratulate to Head of De-

partment ,Faculty and the students

for it. They have not only achieved

success in academics but also in vari-

ous sports, technical & cultural com-

petition where their success is the

pride of the department. For the overall department of the students

each and every part of the department has done it’s duties successfully

which also is appreciable . For glorious destination of CM department

a newsletter is another ladder of success.

CM Engineers are now widely

recognized as an essential source of

tools & techniques for advancement

in nearly all spheres of human en-

deavor. The aim of the Department is

to motivate young professionals in

building cognitive characteristics and

improve the rising engineers with lat-

est trends in technology . The Programme focuses on Training of latest

software, online Live Projects, motivational for learning, intellectual

efficiency & self-reliance which provides the best foundation for con-

tinuing professional achievements.

Parents and teachers’ Meeting

To meet the parents of the

student of first year and second

year of Computer and Infor-

mation Technology, meeting

was arranged in the department

that was held under the admin-

istration of HOD and teaching

staff.

Staff communicated with the parents and discussed about fu-

ture scope in this field. A great career consultancy is given by the

teaching staff to the parents and the students.

Teachers communicated

with each and every parent and

convey them the importance of

good performance, discipline

and active participation of the

students. Hence, the meeting

provided the overall information

of academics to the parents.

guest lecture on “web

designing, development and

security” conducted on 27th

June 2018 by Mr. Suraj

Mundalik, who is presently

working in Sophos.

The session aimed at providing basic information regarding

popular languages for web

development and web de-

signing such as PHP, Ja-

va, vb.net etc. also its fu-

ture scopes. From overall

on 12th Sep 2018 . This lecture

was conducted by Mr. Sub-

hash D. Rajput Director of

BDCGA as well as developer of Maharudra, a career and devel-

opment management.

The objective of the guest lecture is to develop the personality

as well as communication skills of the students. Moreover, the lec-

ture was interactive. It also

helped the students to build a

positive attitude and motivated

them to achieve high success in

life. The lecture was very enlight-

ened for the students.

technology has been arranged

ant. It was based on the career

guidance to shape the future of

students. He discuss various future scopes in IT. Also he motivated

students to take a right path for their careers.

Guest lecture on Latest Trending

An Expert lecture for

the students of 3rd year

computer technology has

been arranged on 26th June

2018. the lecture was driven

by Mr. Rahul Pathak. Lec-

ture was based on the latest

trending technologies such

as IOT, Augmented reality,

Block chain etc. as he told that IT industry has registered a huge

growth in the past few years as it is continuously updating and

changing.

Discussed on various

technologies like Virtual Real-

ity and Augmented reality,

change the people interact with

each other and with a pro-

gramming framework. Hence,

he motivated students to be-

come updated with a changing

technologies.

Android Workshop

A 2 day workshop on an

‘android’ was driven by Ms.

Kanchan Naik for the Stu-

dents of 3rd year of Computer

and Information technology.in

this session Development of an

Android Application is taken

up by her. Step by step instruction for the development are taken up

by them. Tic tac toe is the application developed by the students.

Android is a mobile based

operating system developed by

google in 2008 . No of android

developers is increasing day by

day. There is huge demand for

android developers hence de-

Honda Road Safety Programme

Rushabh Honda Pvt

Ltd an automobile company

has arranged a programme

for the students. Under which

various activities get carried

out such as how do we safely

travel on road, use of helmet,

use of helmets. This measures

are explained by them using

presentations. They also explained about various safety tools for

travelling on road.

This program

provide a very much

standing to students

about the importance

of safety in travelling.

PC Assembly and Troubleshooting

On 30th Oct 2018 PC

Assembly and Trouble-

shooting guest lecture

was organised for first

year students .

The Speaker for the lecture was Mr. Gokul Jadhav . He

demonstrated students how to assemble motherboard and introduc-

tion about its components. The session focused on making students

able to identify parts of pc. They explained Various precautions

regarding day to day handling .

organized by 2nd year

Information Technology and

computer Technology on 28th

Aug, 2018 for the first year

batch of 2018. The main mo-

tive of this event camaraderie

among the seniors and newly joined students, with the vision of encourag-

ing a healthy learning environment to take on challenge of the year

ahead.

Honorable Mr. Y. B. Sanap Sir, the HOD of IF and CM

Department greeted freshers with motivational and encouraging speech.

Mrs. Kalambe Mam and Mr. Mali Sir also welcomed all freshers and

gave them overview of first

year with their grateful and

informative speech.

The program came to

an end with vote of thanks

given by IF and CM

students.

CULTURAL EVENTS

“Teachers can change

lives with just the right mix

of chalk and challenges.”

The day when we can

express our gratitude for

them is teacher’s day. The

celebration of teacher’s day

was conducted by third

year CM & IF students on 5th September 2018. On this occasion

the responsibility of teaching was taken up by students.

Students paid homage to the teachers through poems and

speech. An elocution competition was also arranged. There was a

special celebration for teachers. Honorable Mr. Mali Sir delivered

a speech on ‘Loss of Inheritance’.

The Industrial visit at

Sumago InfoTech was

organized on 01/09/2018 in

the time session between 11:00

to 3:30PM.

The visit aimed to im-

prove the knowledge of stu-

dents regarding the vari-

ous technologies related to web and software. Also to raise enthusi-

asm to work hard to improve their knowledge and skills.

Students got an opportunity to know the work culture of

software developers, web designers as well as web developers, etc.

The get an exposure to technologies used in different levels of the

computer and IT sector and

knowledge required for get-

ting jobs in software com-

panies as well as Digital

Marketing services.

member Mr. Mali sir visited the

‘Prabodhani trust’ orphanage

to make students sociable and

sensitive. The children of or-

phanage were very pleasantly

excited to receive the members. The student volunteer greeted them

with a great enthusiasm. The things like clothes, toys, stationary

were given to the children.

Various problems of these children are understood by the stu-

dents. To make children strong to compete with a world various ini-

tiatives were taken. Every student decided to help these children on

their abilities.

Mock placement

The students of 2nd year Computer and Information Technol-

ogy have received a golden opportunity for the recruitment at the

most renowned Software Company- “Thought Works”. The compa-

ny placed total 20 students from all over India under Software

Technology Internship Programme (STIP). Total 5 students of

Government Polytechnic Nashik have been placed in this company

which is a pride moment for the department.
