    Supply CompanyWelcome Supply Company Family!

Your Marines have been very busy between getting ready for the upcomingdeployment to Afghanistan or with the implementation of a new automated warehouse

management tool or with the ISO 9001 certification process. Several of our Marineswent to Yuma, AZ and trained with the regiment for the upcoming deployment. Theenvironment was harsh and the days were long and boring at times however itprovided a great opportunity to work together and a greater opportunity for small unitleadership to really bloom. We all look forward to the pre-deployment block leave for those going on the deployment. For those who are not going on the deployment, don'tworry you will get your chance next time.

Final Letter from YADY to the BattalionHello Marines, Sailors, Family and Friends of 1st Supply Battalion:

Hello everyone, it is with mix emotions that I write my last time to the Supply Battalion Newsletter. What awonderful journey this has been. For the past two years, I have seen the Battalion family grow to fullpotential in planning and execution of events, family days, deployment stress and most of all in taking careof one another.I know we could not have done it without the help of our wonderful Family Readiness Team and MartyRector (our FRO) who has been the back bone of the program. I thank you this team for all the hard work, loyalty and dedication you have put into the program while helping the families of the Battalion. I would liketo extend also a great thank you to all the wonderful wives and husbands, who helped us plan and supportevery Battalion event we put together. You were an integral part of the success of the Family ReadinessTeam. I could not have asked for a most talented, most outgoing and energetic team to work with. Andlastly, but not least, thank you to all the marines and sailors of 1 st Supply Battalion who supported us in theplanning and execution of our events. Your participation made all the difference and every experience anadventure. As I reflect in the last two years, I feel very honor to have been part of this journey with all of you. It has

not been easy but it has been the most rewarding experience of my Marine Wife and spouse time. Thememories and love of each one of you has a special place in my heart and I will take them with mewherever I go. But most important, I will take the most precious gift of all and that is your friendship thank you for given me the opportunity to be part of this family.Yady
