Special thanks to Lee Rowedder for the use of his garage to hold the safe opening class in. Who would have thought that it would go till 9:00 P.M. with almost everyone staying. Safes were brought in from, Omaha, Norfolk, Columbus, Kearney, etc. Everyone worked on them and had a full hands on in the opening of them.

PRESIDENTS NOTES We hope each of you had a Merry Christmas and Wish you a Happy and Prosperous New Year! Velma and I look forward to seeing you at the meeting in January in Grand Island. For future meetings I’m real sure that we will have Bruce Eagen to teach the class on the Schlage D line in April. This will be one of Bruce’s super full day classes. John Reed has agreed to teach a Business class in July in Norfolk, and then of course, MINK, in October in Omaha. You can follow the Mink Progress on the website. As soon as we have things confirmed we will have them posted there for you. It will be real important to sign up early for some of the classes, because the instructors want to have a list of participants. We will be forming committees to prepare for MINK and I know all of you will be willing to help if called upon. I hope each of you have a prosperous 2004. NLA MEETING MINUTES The October 25th meeting of NLA was called to order by Bernard Dobesh at the Country INN In Kearney, NE at 8:00 A.M. The minutes were read and approved as read. The Treasurers report was given by Tony Delgado as of this meeting we have $7,975.64. The report was voted on and approved. Elections were held and Bernard Dobesh is President and Gene Hansen is Vice President. Mo-tion was made to make the editor position a permanent position, second and motion carried. This class will be on safes, Elmer Howard picked up 4 safes for the class, it was motioned that he be reimbursed for the gas it took to bring these safes. Motion carried. Ron Rowedder from Kearney passed away, and it was motioned that Carol Rowedder con-tinue to receive the NLA Newsletter. Motion Carried. Motion to adjourn & motion carried. Nebraska Chapter Of ALOA Meeting Minutes The Nebraska Chapter Of ALOA was called to order by President Bernard Dobesh President, on October 25, 2003 at the Country INN in Kearney, NE at 8:30 A.M. Minutes were read and approved as read. The Treasures report was given by Treasurer James Hoffman as of September 24 in the United States Bank in Hastings. We have $1,406.28. Treasurer Report was motioned and passed. Elections were held: Bernard Dobesh as President and Gene Hansen as Vice President. Dues are due as of January 1st for Nebraska Chapter Of ALOA. The question was ask as to why the dues are going up, and what do we get for them. If we want a instructor we have to pay for them. Nobody had a good answer. Motion to adjourn, motion carried.
