BackgroundThailand developed data exchange based on its advanced dataexchange and dissemination system, StatXchange (Project finishes onJune 2014)

MDGs UNSD-DFID project: Project gives the participants their firstSDMX experience with well-known and easy-to-use platform and tools, suchas DevInfo software or their own existing dissemination systems.• Learning from UNSD-DFID MDGs Project,• The UNSD preferred IT Technical cooperation programmed with KNDI

(Key National Development Indicators) Thailand Project.• Using SDMX to exchange MDG data (and use Metadata Technology’s Fusion

Registry) between National Statistical Offices and international agencies ,• National data delivered to a central database, compared and analyzed with

The strategy to the development of the national reporting platform(s) going forward.

To be the National SDGs Data Hub, Data Portal & Visualization System

To report and disseminate National statistics including SDG indicators, and refers to a web site, database, and associated IT infrastructure used to collect, store, secure, and ultimately disseminate data and related metadata and documentation in an easily accessible way to reach all targeted users.

To enhance the capacity of the National Statistical Systems (NSSs)

Considering the best solution to be keen to incorporate modern tools and statistical

innovations into the TNSO’ activities.

Interesting in .Stat Suite and opportunities for future collaboration of the data management

and dissemination

Need for more support from partners or Agency (i.e. ESCAP, ADB, UNSD, UNICEF etc.)

especially in SDMX, and area of SDGs Monitoring

The strategy to the development of the national reporting platform(s) going forward.

To discuss to replace the current SDG platform

Will focus on Technology solutions to improve the quality with producing SDG statistics for administrative data , Dissemination of data using modern tools.

Selection of agencies would be needed.

Implementation SDMX

Embarks on deployment of the .Stat Suite is a fully platform for data dissemination and reporting.

What is .STAT SUITE?

Interest in .Stat Suite: Because Standards based (allows TNSO to adopt SDMX and align to international standards);

Open source (TNSO can own the solution non-commercial and community driven);

Componentized (Allow TNSO to integrate with existing Statistical tools and processes, including within the wider

National Statistical System)

Now we also Learning from the Project to connect the .Stat Suite back-office to the Open Data Platform to support

the standardization of the complete data flow through SDMX
