2016 NABE NCBP NCBF MIDYEAR MEETING 1 SAN DIEGO

Dear Bar and Foundation Leaders,Welcome to San Diego! We know your time here will be well spent, whether you are attend-ing the meeting of the National Association of Bar Executives (NABE), February 2-4, the National Conference of Bar Presidents (NCBP), February 4-6, the National Conference of Bar Foundations (NCBF), February 4-6 — or all three!

While in San Diego, catch the waves of change and chart a course for your bar association, with the help of program experts and colleagues! San Diego is a great place for bar associa-tion and foundation leaders to gather to share ideas, network, and attend the informative program sessions scheduled for this year’s meeting. This booklet is designed to be your guide to the meetings, and includes descriptions of our jointly sponsored programming as well as those organized separately by our respective organizations.

We also want to take this opportunity to thank the individuals who made this meeting pos-sible. Please join us in extending our appreciation to our program sponsors by visiting them during the meeting sponsor breaks to explore their products and services. We also thank the NABE, NCBP, NCBF and MBC program committees and boards for their efforts to make the Midyear Meeting a success.

Finally, thank you for your attendance. We hope you enjoy all that San Diego has to offer!

ME T ROPOLITAN BAR CAUCUSThe Metropolitan Bar Caucus (MBC) is a sub-group of the National Conference of Bar Presidents (NCBP) that seeks to address the interests and the concerns of major metropolitan bar associations throughout the United States. Established in 1979 as the National Caucus of Metropolitan Bar Leaders, the organization became the Metropolitan Bar Caucus in 1993. At annual and midyear meetings held in conjunction with the ABA and the NCBP, the MBC presents programs exploring a variety of topics including pro bono activities, diversity, membership, financial issues, community involvement and recruitment of young law-yers to join and participate in metropolitan bars.
