SPEAKER PLACEMENT

Note for all-weather

models:While the

N24AW and N26AW are

weather-resistant, theyare not designed to be

immersed in water. Be

selective in your

outdoor placement.

Placing these speakers

under roof eaves or a

patio awning will offer

some shelter and help

contribute to years

of trouble-freeperformance. When

installed outdoors, the

speakers should be

angled down slightly,

using the mounting

brackets that are

included with models

N24 and N24AW

(brackets are optional

for models N26 andN26AW).

Proper placement of thespeakers is an importantstep in obtaining the mostrealistic soundstage

possible. These recom-mendations are for

the optimum placement ofthe loudspeakers. Use theseplacement recommendationsas a guide. Slight variations

will not diminish yourlistening pleasure.

All of the Northridge Seriesloudspeakers referred to inthis guide are video-shielded(except models N24AW and

N26AW) and can safely beplaced near a television.

The N-CENTER center-channelloudspeaker is designed to

complement all of the

Northridge Series loudspeakers.

It is the ideal way to re-create

the cinematic experience in

your home.

CONNECTION TIPS

SPEAKER CONNECTIONS

WALL MOUNTING

Speakers and electronicsterminals have corre-sponding (+) and ()terminals. It is important toconnect both speakersidentically: (+) on thespeaker to (+) on the

amplifier and () on thespeaker to () on theamplifier. Wiring out ofphaseresults in thinsound, weak bass and apoor stereo image.

M ODELS: N24 , N24 AW, N26, N26AW

The Northridge Seriesspeaker models indicatedabove may be wall-mounted.

The customer is responsiblefor proper selection and useof mounting hardware,available through hardware

stores, to properly and safelywall-mount the speakers.

This product is not intendedfor ceiling mounting.Adjustable wall-mountingbrackets are included withmodels N24 and N24AW.

If there is no sound from

any of the speakers:Check that receiver/amplifier is on and that asource is playing.

Review proper operationof your receiver/amplifier.

If there is no sound comingfromone speaker:

Check the Balancecontrol on your receiver/amplifier.
