Day 1 - Depart Chicago aboard the California ZephyrYour tour to the Old West and some of America’s beloved parks and sites begins at Chicago’s Union Station, where you meet your tour manager and fellow travelers and board the California Zephyr for an afternoon departure. Overnight train. (D)

Day 2 - California Zephyr through the Rocky MountainsThe Zephyr climbs across the Colorado Rockies, through the Mo!at Tunnel and along the Byers, Glenwood and Ruby Canyons today. Visit the glass-walled Sightseer Lounge for panoramic views and an educational Trails and Rails presentation by volunteer park rangers as you travel between Denver and Grand Junction. Day 3 - Jackson, WyomingAfter breakfast, board the coach for a journey through Star Valley to Jackson, Wyoming. The afternoon is yours to stroll the wood-plank sidewalks and to gaze upon the Grand Teton mountain range. Day 4 - Snake River Float TripThis morning, we "oat along the Snake River in Grand Teton National Park. Day 5 - Grand Teton National ParkDiscover Grand Teton National Park this morning. Highlights include a stop at the new Moose Visitor Center, Jenny Lake Overlook, Jackson Lake Lodge and more. Later, we travel by coach to Yellowstone, with a photo stop at Lewis Falls as we enter the park. Check into your lodge; then spend the evening at your leisure. Overnight Canyon Lodge in Yellowstone National Park, Yellowstone, WY. (B)

Day 6 - Yellowstone National ParkToday’s sightseeing tour showcases some of Yellowstone National Park’s most renowned sights: Hayden Valley, the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and Artist Point. Walk around Fountain Paint Pots, and stop at the famous Old Faithful Inn and Geyser Basin. There is time to explore

Day 7 - Bu!alo Bill Center of the West MuseumThis morning we set out for Cody, Wyoming. Our #rst stop along the way is the Bu!alo Bill Center of the West. This complex contains #ve museums under one roof: the Bu!alo Bill Museum, the Remington Firearms Museum, the Whitney Museum of Western Art, the Plains Indian Museum and the Draper Natural History Museum. Day 8 - Deadwood/Hill City/KeystoneJourney from U-Cross to Deadwood this morning. Our late morning arrival gives you time to explore the town and have lunch. After lunch, we embark on the Original Deadwood Tour. Hear stories of the Old West and pay your respects to Wild Bill and Calamity Jane at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, aka, “Boot Hill.” From Deadwood, we head to Hill City, where we board the 1880 Train for a ride through the Black Hills to Keystone. Day 9 - Mount Rushmore/Crazy Horse Memorial/Custer State ParkFirst up today is Mount Rushmore, whose four presidents represent the #rst 150 years of America’s history. Next, we make our way to the Crazy Horse Memorial. Explore the museum, then board a bus bound for the base of the mountain to hear about the construction of this amazing memorial. From here, we move on to the town of Custer

for lunch and exploration; then it is onto Custer State Park. Board your Safari Jeep for a fun-#lled afternoon of adventure. Day 10 - Badlands National ParkThis morning we travel through spectacular scenery on our way to Badlands National Park. A guided tour through the park provides the best opportunities for wildlife viewing and in-depth information about the land and history of the park. Next, visit Wall Drug, “America’s Favorite Roadside Attraction,” for lunch on your own. Discover a variety of western souvenirs and pieces of Americana in this Old West Emporium. The #nal stop for the day is Bear Country USA. This wildlife park features the world’s largest private viewing habitat of the American Black Bear. Enjoy a drive through this unique park, then stroll through the Wildlife Center to see small animals and baby bears. The evening concludes with Mount Rushmore’s evening lighting ceremony.
