Introduction
• HUMA GRO presents a line of organic products with a base of
active phytomolecules to control pests and diseases for both soil
and foliar applications. These work in a systemic, by direct contact
as a preventative and curative action. With this line of chemical free
products, HUMA GRO decreases the environmental impact due to
its mode of action does not lead to the development of chemical
resistance caused by phytopathogens.

Introduction
• Huma Gro Products have been registered by the U.S.
Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). This line of HUMA GRO
products qualifies as exempt from registration under the Federal
Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). The
ingredients in these products meet the requirements of
the National Organic Program (NOP) of the Department of
Agriculture (USDA), and is registered under the rules of the Organic
Materials Review Institute (OMRI).

PROMAX 13
Thymus vulgaris
Gaultheria shallon
PROMAX is a preventative and curative fungicide and nematicide recommended to control diseases in the soil and parasitic nematodes in the plant for a wide variety of crops. Because of its antifungal compounds, PROMAX stimulates the activation of physiological processes that induce plant resistance. PROMAX by formulation utilizes an inhibitory action to the development and reproduction of nematodes. PROMAX promotes the growth of roots and as a result, reduces plant vulnerability to secondary infections which allows for better recovery of damaged plants.

Active Ingredients
Essential oils such as Thymol, Carvacrol (bacteriacidal and antimicrobial
properties), cimol, terpenes (act as antioxidants that protect against free radicals)
terpinene, cymene, falvonoids, phenol acids (caffeic acid, rosmarinic acid) tannins,
saponins, phenolic acids, triterpene acids, ursolic, oleanolic, vitamin B1, Vitamin C,
and contains other mineral elements
Wintergreen oil, gaultherin, methyl salicylate, salicylic acid, caffeic acid, catechic
tannins among others. These promote the activation of resistance processes
induced in the plant.
Organic Acids in Micro-Carbon Technology, which are chains in length of 1-6
benzene rings with secondary metabolites from freshwater microalgae, complexing
and giving reactive capacity to the active botanicals of Thyme and Wintergreen.

Form of Action
• Nematicide Activity
• Inhibits both the development of the nematodes as well as
the eclosion of their eggs. The contents of the essencial oils of
Thyme and wintergreen are nuerotoxins with direct effects.
These act by affecting the breathing process and by inhibiting
many enzymatic processes resulting in the death of the
nematode.

Form of Action
• Feeding Inhibitors.
• Substances ( flavonoids, lignans and tannins) whose
function is to prevent or disrupt the nematode feeding process (after initial consumption) and thus lead to death by starvation.
16

Form of Action
Activation of Plant Defense Mechanisms
• Tannins and Salicylic Acid systemically activate the natural
resistance mechanism acquired by the plant, similar to a response
when under a pathogen attack. Thus the crop is already alert when
attacked by virulent pathogen.
• Furthermore, the hydrolyzable tannins strengthen and waterproof
the epidermis while accelrating the processes of lignification which
impede the penetration of infectious agents.
• Promote regeneration of tissues en wounds or scars protecting
them from external agents.
• Production of secondary metabolites with direct action against
pathogens including phytoalexins (resveratrol, cucumerina A and
B, vitexin, etc.) phenolic compounds alkenes, quinones, and
enzymes (lipoxygenase, chitinases, etc.).
17

Form of Action
• Eradicant effect on Mushrooms • The saponins, carvacol, thymol, palmitic acid
and ascorbic acid exert an action of eradication due to their biocide effects on pathogenic fungi. They act in a similar maner to soap, dissolving and dehydrating the cellular tissues of the external reproductive organs (spores and conidia) of the parasitic fungi. This action is supplemented with other tannic substances and alkaloids with direct toxic properties and antioxidants that affect sporulation.

PROUD 3 20
Thymus vulgaris
Gaultheria shallon
PROUD 3 is a broad spectrum formulation with 2 modes of action, contact and local systemic. Proud 3 can be applied as an insecticide, miticide and fungicide. It controls soft-bodies insects such as thrips, white fly, leaf miner and aphids, as well as many diseases such as Botrytis (Botrytis spp), Mildew, Powdery Mildews (Erysiphe spp. y Oidium spp. y Peronospora spp.) and Phythophtora due to its antifungal active ingredients. PROUD 3 activates many internal plant defenses for enhanced resistance to the attack of many pathogens.

Form of Action
• Direct Effect on Insects
• Penetrates the insect cuticle through the stomates and other openings, reaching the nervous system where it interferes with the movement of sodium ions causing a blockage of those channels. Immediately produces alterations in the transmission of nerve impulses.

PROUD 3 PACKAGING
• PROUD 3 is a bacteriacide-fungicide product with
two modes of action by contact and local sistemic.
Because its contents include thyme oil, glicerin and
wintergreen oil, its very environmentally friendly
and degrades quickly. PROUD 3 demonstrates
rapid dispersion and penetration of fungicide and
bacteriacide components to the microorganisms
attached to the surface of fruits such as Escherichia
coli, Salmonella enterica and Botrytiss cinerea due
to its content of Micro-Carbon Technology.

PROUD 3 PACKAGING
• Organic acids of low molecular weight that exhibit
outstanding characteristics because they sequester
mineral salts and break organic compounds of
large chains which results in better disintegration
of particles of dirt.
• Works affectively against Escherichia coli,
Salmonella enterica and Botrytiss cinerea.
• Its excellent characteristics of Fungicide and
Bacteriacide make it very useful for agriculture
since an application provides sterilization and
disinfection which lengthens the shelf life of
perishable food crops. This is a product that is
completely water soluble and environmentally
friendly.
