ABROMA AUGUSTA

It is prepared from the leaves of Ulat kambal.

Clinical

• Diabetes mellitus.• Amenorrhea.• Dysmenorrhea

Symptoms

Abroma augusta has gained high reputation in curingwonderfully diabetes mellitus and dysmenorrhea.

Urinary system

Profuse urination day and night, frequent urination,dryness of mouth and great thirst; desire to drink afterurination which relieves thirst; urination leads toexhaustion; fishy odour of the urine; slight sediment;

diabetes mellitus; nocturnal enuresis, burning in urethra;white ulcers in the mouth of prepuce caused by excessivepassage of sugar in urine; inability to retain urine.

Female

It is an unique drug in entire materia medica inaffecting instant cure and relief in dysmenorrhea. Thepatient creates panic by her shrieks and shrills due tointolerable pain, the blood is dark and clotted, sometimesyellowish with scanty or profuse menstrual flow.Chlorosis, hysterical spasms, irregular menses andleucorrhea are the other symptoms associated withdysmenorrhea. There is colicky pain in the lower abdomen2-3 days before menses, sometimes hysteria is alsoassociated with menstrual disorders.

Dose

In diabetes mellitus administer Abroma augusta Qdrops, 3 times a day and Syzygium jambolanum Q(Jamun) in 5 drops twice daily.

In dysmenorrhea and all complication associated withit give Abroma augusta Q 10 drops every hour or ofteneraccording to, the severity of the pain. During paroxysmgive Passiflora incarnata Q, 60 drops with an ounce of waterat bed time to induce sleep.

After the cessation of menstrual period give Abromaaugusta 1x, 2 drops, Xanthoxylum americanum 1x, 2 dropsdoses and Asoka jonosia Q, 5 drops, each twice daily withan ounce of water. Continue this process till the nextmenstrual period. The treatment should be continuedutmost for 3 months according to method directed above.

To ensure radical cure give Medorrhinum CM 1 doseevery month just after the menstrual period as most of

the cases of dysmenorrhea are dependent on sycoticgonorrhea infection contracted from husband.

ABROMA RADIX

It is prepared from the bark of Ulat Kambal.

Clinical

• Female disorders.

Symptoms

Abroma radix is a great uterine tonic and like Abromaaugusta very efficacious in all complaints especiallydysmenorrhea. It is used in same way as Abroma augustawith all its complimentary medicines.

ABROTANUMClinical

• Marasmus.• Peritonitis.

Symptoms

This drug has marvelous cure of consumption(wasting) with peritonitis, emaciation and marasmus fromfeet upward with constant distention and acidity inabdomen, face shriveled, dry cold and pale withcharacteristics that the patient losses flesh rapidly whileliving well with ravenous hunger.

Remedies

Dose

Give 1x, 2 drops 4 times a day or according to theseverity of the case. This drug may be complemented withTuberculinum 1M once in a month.

ABSINTHIUM

Clinical

• Seizures.• Sleeplessnes.

Symptoms

It is a very good medicine in epileptiform seizures.Nervous tremors precede attack. There is sudden andsevere giddiness, delirium with hallucination and loss ofconsciousness. Nervous excitement and sleeplessness.

It is likewise very efficacious in cerebral irritation,hysteria, infantile spasms, chorea, tremors, nervousness,excitement and sleeplessness in childrens.

Vertigo, with tendency to fall backward andspasmodic facial twitching also come within the range ofthis remedy.

Dose

Give Absinthium Q, 2 to 4 drops or 1x, 1 drop duringparoxysm every 10 to 15 minutes otherwise 4 times a day.

ACALYPHA INDICA

Clinical

• Bronchietasis.• Cough.• Hemoptysis.• Incipient phthisis.

Symptoms

The drug has gained universal reputation for itswonderful efficacy in instant relief and radical cure in thehemorrhage from lungs.

Acalypha indica is employed in the beginning of thephthisis associated with hard, dry and severe coughfollowed by bloody expectoration. “Expectoration of purebright red blood comes on in morning and dark clottedblood in the evening while violent teasing cough at night.”There is dullness of chest on percussion and severe painin chest with progressive emaciation, night sweat andevening rise of temperature. It is indicated in incipientphthisis with hard, racking cough, bloody expectoration,arterial hemorrhage but without febrile disturbances.

Dose

It is used as Q in the beginning 5 drops, 4 times a dayin an ounce of water and afterward 1x, 2 drops, 4 times aday.

Remedies

ACENASIA

Clinical

• Diphtheria.

Symptoms

Great languor, cold perspiration on the whole body,fetid breath, ulcer in pharynx, diphtheria and hemorrhageof dark blood.

Dose

Acenasia in 5-10 drops, every 2 hours. It may becomplemented with a dose of Diphtherinum 200 inmalignant diphtheria.

ACHYRANTHES ASPERA

Clinical• Diarrhea.• Dysentery.• Bad effects of dog and snake bite.

Symptoms

The drug is very effective in acute diarrhea andcholera; watery stool; yellowish and mixed with flakes ofmucus profuse in quantity; excessive thirst; pain in thestomach; nausea and vomiting. Pulse is thready.

The skin symptoms includes boils, carbuncles; foulsmelling poisonous ulcer etc., red spot in skin, burningpain all over the body.

It is useful in removing bad effects of dog, snake andother animals bite.

ACONITUM NAPELLUSClinical

• Rheumatic fever.• Collapse condition.

Symptoms

This drug is useful in saving lives from inevitabledeath in the stage of collapse with “coldness of body, facecyanotic and like a corpse, great agony, restlessness, fearof death, weakness of heart with regular beat butimperceptible pulse.”

In fever cold stage more marked, cold sweat and icycoldness of face. Evening chilliness soon after going to bed.Cold waves pass through him. Thirst and restlessnessalways present. Dry heat with red face. Sweat drenching,on parts lain on; relieving all Symptoms.

Dose

Give 1 drop of Aconite Q, with cool water every 15minutes.

In rheumatic fever when the temperature rises higherthan 105°, give Aconite Q drop in cool water every 15minutes and the temperature will soon come down tonormal.

ACONITUM RADIX

Clinical

• Diarrhea.• Tetanic convulsion.

Symptoms

It acts like a magic in “thin watery stools, vomiting ofgreen, black and bilious substance, violent tenesmus andpain in abdomen, retention of urine, coldness and bluenessof the whole body, respiration very difficult and cold,vertigo, pulse feeble and imperceptible. In tetanicconvulsion there is chilliness, shivering and perspiration.

Dose

Use 1 drop of this remedy in 1x dilution with coolwater at interval of every 15 minutes. In case ofsenselessness or inability to swallow the remedy, let thepatient inhale the remedy purely dropped in cotton andit will prove to be great saviour.

In tetanic convulsions give Aconitum radix 1x dropwith an ounce of cool water every 15 minutes.

ADONIS VERNALISClinical

• Heart disorders.

Symptoms

It acts predominantly on heart when it is affected afterrheumatism, influenza or nephritis, where the muscles of

the heart are in the stage of fatty degeneration. It regulatesthe pulse, increases the contracting power of the heart,with increased urinary secretion.

It is valuable in cardiac dropsy, hydrothorax; ascitesand anasarca. Pains wander from place to place.Arrythmia. It is not cumulative in action. Compensatoryhypertrophy of heart in cardiac stenosis and mitralregurgitation.

Dose

Give 5 to 10 drops of the tincture 4 times a day.

AEGELEFOLIA AND AEGELEMARMELOS

(Bel Fruit)

Preparation

Aegele folia is prepared from the Bilwapatra (Bel leaf)while Aegelemarmelos from the fruit of Bel.

Aegele marmelos is efficacious in diarrhea, dysenterywhere Mere-cor. etc. have failed. It should be used in 5 to20 drops doses in cool water at an interval of 2 to 3 hoursaccording to the severity of the case.
