Can be Actual or Virtual. are basically collages of items such as photographs, sketches, clippings, fabric swatches and color samples. 3. Things that can be explored in the mood board include photography style, color palettes, typography, patterns, and the overall look. The mood board is intentionally casual; it lets the designer start with broad strokes and get feedback before too much time is invested in the wrong direction. 5. Paint chips and other color swatches are also featured on a decorating mood board. The client can view the mood board and decide whether he or she likes the main design concepts the board represents. 6. Mood boards are a great way for designers to present their take on a theme to clients.
