MOOD-BOARD ONE

This first mood board will be establishing the colour scheme I wish to use on the products. It will feature mostly green, with varying shades ranging from dark moss green to a more neon green. I chose to use green as the focal colour because this is what SASH currently already use for their products, so people will be able to recognize these products as part of the same charity. I will also add some red and blue into the mood-board as I think that these two colours will help to make certain aspects of the products stand out more and be more noticeable, even though I do not want these two opposing colours to become the main colour on the page.

MOOD-BOARD TWO

The second mood-board I have created is about the images, more specifically the type of image I will be using, this one particularity being about happy families and the idea of unity and feeling loved. I wanted to have these types of photos on the products because I think that having -positive images will make people think positive things, which will lead them to see SASH as a very good thing that can help people. I also think that thee images ill be useful because It can help to show the people who need help from SASH how things do get better, and that one way or another you can have a safe place to stay.

MOOD-BOARD THREE

This third mood board concentrates solely on the ‘homeless’ aspect with images depicting different types of homelessness, whether that be begging on the street or just sitting alone with no where to go. I think that these types of images will work well because the homeless people seeing the products featuring these will be able to directly relate to them and will be able to see how bad it could potentially be. These images a very emotive and will draw people into the products because they will want to understand the people in the images and will think that the product will help them do that.

MOOD-BOARD FOUR

This is the first mood board which showcases a variety of fonts that could be used on any of the products I have designed. These font types are sans-serif, meaning that the letters will have no serifs at the end of them, therefore they will not curve around, the letter will end abruptly in a line. I think that this type of font will be useful on any of the products because it is easy to read and very clear, which makes it perfect for large areas of text that need to be readable. There are many different types of sans-serif fonts, so I would still have the ability to make the text look interesting. These fonts I have chosen are also all appropriate for the the products I will be making.

MOOD-BOARD FIVE

This is the second mood board which showcases a variety of fonts that could be used on any of the products I have designed. These font types are serif, which means that each of the letters will have a curve to them, making them appear more rounded, continuing the letter when it should have finished. I think that these types of font will be appropriate and useful for these types of products because it will stand out and be more eye catching. This type of font could also be used to draw the audience in, being the focus text on the page. I like this type of font because it can be used for areas of text to read, even though it can sometimes be unclear, but it can also be used as the main ‘headline’ of the product, drawing in the audience even more.

MOOD-BOARD SIX

This final mood board is a combination of all of the above, it will feature texts, images and colours that I think go well together and could be used on my final products, I will only be doing one of these mood boards as I want all of my products to feature the same things, to make it clear that they are part of a set and represent SASH as a charity.
