The school conducted different reading activities for Classes I- V to mark Reading Month from 19 June-18 July 2021. CBSE Expression Series 2021-22

To celebrate the 75th year of India’s independence, CBSE Expression Series for the session 2021-22 based on the theme India@75 was conducted by the school from 22 - 26 July 2021.The students of Classes III-XII participated and expressed their views in the form of essays, poems and paintings. Rudra Singh Thakur(V-A) Yaadavi K.(VII- B) Jiah Gupta(X-B) and Tanya Purohit (XII-A) were selected from Primary, Middle, Secondary and Senior Secondary levels respectively. This was a great initiative by CBSE to encourage students and enhance their thinking and writing skills.

Independence Day Celebration

DPS Tapi celebrated the Independence Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour on 15th August 2021 to mark the 75th year of Indian freedom from the British. The event commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony, which was followed by the principal, Dr Sanjukta Sivakumar’s speech, National Anthem and the cultural programme organised by our teachers and activity coaches. This celebration took place both - on campus and alongside online classes, where students showcased their understanding of patriotism through skits, music, dance and many more. They also took an active part in the Spell Bee based on the theme, ‘India’.

World Peace Day 2021

The students of Class VII B presented a special assembly on World Peace Day on 13 September 2021. The assembly began with the introductory speech by students on the importance of the day, followed by a song. A skit - ‘I peace’ was performed by the students present on campus.

All Faith Prayer

The students of Class V conducted the special All Faith Prayer assembly on 27 September 2021. They recited prayers in their mother tongue and dressed up beautifully in their traditional attire. Through this programme the school aims at enhancing linguistic tolerance and respect; and promote national integration amongst others.

Chess Championship

We are proud to announce that Sanidhya Bajaj of Class X A stood 5th in the 10th All India Scholastic Online Chess Championship in the Under 16 Age Group Category (Boys) conducted by South Mumbai Chess Academy on a Pan-India Level on 25 and 26 September 2021. He was awarded a certificate along with a medal & trophy. We wish him all the best for his future endeavours.
