On the first day we went to Warsaw. We picked our partners from the airport and then started visiting the city. A tourist guide showed us

the old town and explained some curiosities about some important places and the history of Poland. Afterwards, we went to a shopping mall which was next to the

Palace of Science and Culture and high buildings and we had lunch. At around 6 p.m. we went back to the bus and we returned to Puławy.

06.11.2012 (Tuesday)

We went to school and met all students from Comenius Project. We were divided

into international groups and showed the guests our school.

Later on all the partners showed all the presentations which we had

previously prepared (“Who we are”, “A short trip round the history of my

town”) and the best essays were read.

06.11.2012 (Tuesday)

After lunch we were working in international groups. We were dancing national dance “Polka” and watched the show by the students. They were dancing “Kujawiak” and

“Oberek”. Paulina Łukanowska and Gabriel Raj are champions in those dances.

We were also making some crafts out of paper and saw a

presentation about Polish Folk Art and Crafts.

06.11.2012 (Tuesday)

We were trying and cooking traditional Polish dishes and making posters about holidays in

our countries.

07.11.2012 (Wednesday)

• We went to Kozłówka. It’s one of our candidates for the eighth wonder of the

world. There is a beautiful palace with many paintings and original furniture. It was

owned by the Zamoyski family since 1799.

Later on we had lunch and visited the Park in Puławy, the second candidate for the

world’s eighth wonder. We had to complete some tasks and take photos of the park and then make presentations using the photos and information we

collected.

08.11.2012 (Thursday)

• On Thursday we went to Kazimierz Dolny. It is a village with a nice market and beautiful traders’ houses with carvings on the walls. There are also

ruins of castle. We bought souvenirs and regional food there. But Kazimierz is not only a place where you can see the monuments or buy

souvenirs. We had a ride by jeeps in the ravines. It was really amazing. Kazimierz Dolny was a third candidate for the world’s eighth wonder.
