Objective: To enlist the boating public, and the supportingindustries, to become the eyes and ears of the Coast Guard in identifying and reporting unusualmaritime activity.

The Auxiliary manages the recreational boatingsegment and assists in the commercial segment.

Auxiliary supports the vessel inspection provisions in response to requests from Captain of the Port.

Could broaden as other provisions are addressed.

Coast Guard provides training.

Auxiliary Personnel Augmentation List (AUXPAL)

Provides trained personnel to fill CoastGuard Billets.

Responsive to all MARSEC levels.

Auxiliary target recruits to fill neededpersonnel gaps in both the Auxiliary

and the Coast Guard.
