• The La Paz tram system was
inaugurated.
• Operated by The Bolivian Power
Company.
• Due to the growing demand
collapsed in 1951.
• The public transport service
began.
• Vehicle owners hired drivers to
provide this service, which was
finally imposed on the tram.

• These operators were formally
organized.
• In each department and at the national
level, leaders were elected.
• They significantly strengthened their
organization.
