The strand jack is a hydraulic device withwhich heavy loads can be raised andlowered over short and long distances.By combining a number of units, it is pos-sible to raise or lower almost any load.
Modules with capacity of 125/250/380 t,with sliding friction resistance < 1%
The AirPad-transport System (APS), a system for moving heavy loads with a minimumfriction values, consists essentially of individual or coupled load modules, a slidewayand the associated supply systems(hydraulic and compressed air).
Application possibilities: Moving/pushing-in of building parts
(bridges, underpasses etc.) Moving and turning of heavy
machines (tunnelling machines,generators etc.)
Moving of ships and parts of ships(e.g. 16 loudouts in Korea,22 t/ship)
