It is a Religious house that is built for religious purpose and a community for the Monks and

Nuns

Convent

A large number of people that are under a head, they are faithful to religious life.

Monk

A man that dedicated his life only to religious proposes

Nun

A woman that dedicated her life only to religious purposes.

Abbot

Abbit is the leader of the Monks

Abbess

Abbes is the head of the Nuns.

Vatican

Is the place that the Pope and his government settle in.

Infallible

Totally responsible or certain

Vicar of Christ

With the permission of the pope the vicar of Christ stands in the position of Christ. His

Authority stands in the Church

Dioceses

A region under the control of the archbishop’s authority.

Archdiocese

The region under the control of a Archbishop.

Basilica

It is a large building that was used in Rome as a Court and for public assemblies

Cathedral

The main Church in a diocese which the bishop is officially attendant

Parish Church

The Church that is found in every Manor that is controlled by Parish Priest

Cardinals

The Pope elects the Cardinals, this creates Sacred college, which they elect the Pope. The Cardinal is the leading figure in the Church

 Curia

• the papal court at the Vatican, by which the Roman Catholic Church is governed. It comprises various Congregations, Tribunals, and other commissions and departments.

Pope

He is the head of the m Church and is considered more important than the priest himself, and is

higher than the monarchy.

Parish Priests

They are the Priests that are found in every church in the manor.

Bishops

He is a member of the Clergy, and is in charge of a diocese, and has power to give holy orders

Archbishops

The leader of a Bishop which is responsible for an Archdiocese

Regular Clergy

The Body of all the people established for religious duties usually in the Church

Secular Clergy
