MAIN CHARACTERISTICS | JOURNALVGB PowerTech e. V. is the European technical association for electricity and heat generation. It is the prime target of VGB PowerTech e. V. to support its member companies upon the generation of electricity and heat and the related by-products.

This applies in particular to: l operational and plant safety l economic efficiency l environmental compatibility l application of new technology l competitiveness of different technologies l relevant legislation upon planning, construction, operation, and disassembly of plants

About 1,600 power plant experts are organised in VGB committees, panels and working parties.

The results of this work and these activities are published in the monthly international profes-sional Journal VGB PowerTech, the organ of VGB PowerTech e. V.This is why this journal – the leading technical publication in the field of construction, operation and engineering of power plants – enjoys an excellent reputation in international expert circles: l renowned authors are writing the editorial of each issue,

l all papers are 100 % reviewed by experts, thus guaranteeing the high quality,

l news from the industry, R&D and the energy business promptly inform about current issues,

l dates, information on human resources and statistical data are also focussed,

l as advertising medium, VGB PowerTech directly addresses the companies of the power business.

VGB EVENT PUBLICATIONSVGB PowerTech e. V. organises major interna-tional events with trade fairs for the power and heat industry.Special publications are published on the occasion of selected VGB conferences and the annual VGB Congress “Power Plants”.These publications cover invitation brochures and event programs with detailed summaries of the presentations and lists of participants and exhibitors of the accompanying trade fairs.

Advertisements are possible in selected publications of VGB events, e. g.: l “VGB Congress”: Invitation and Programme l VGB Conference “Chemistry in Power Plants”: ProgrammeAdditionally it is possible to support VGB events as a sponsor, above mentioned and e. g. l VGB Conferences “Maintenance”: Programme l VGB Conference “KELI 2016” (Electrical Engineering): Programme l VGB Conference “Steam turbines and Operation”: ProgrammeMore details are summarised in special notes for each event and in the Editorial Schedule (in the middle of this notes).
