Meadowbrook Greenhouses is pleased to offer a premium selection of

hanging baskets for Spring 2015. Our plants are grown locally in Central

Alberta ensuring the highest quality. Be the first to bring in the spectacular

Vibrant, beautiful and delicious 10” Hanging Baskets

We are including forms to make your job easier. Feel free to copy more forms if you run low, or call us and we can send a PDF file via email so that you may print as you need. We have included a “Participants Order Form”. This tool is used to record each participant’s sales and when they are done selling, they return the completed form and the monies to you. We have also included an “Organizer Order Summary”. Summarize the participants order forms and send in by fax, mail or email. We will send you a confirmation of your order, and we will follow up to finalize any details regarding timing and location of delivery.

2015 Spring Hanging Baskets

Bring color to your community with beautiful plants and raise funds for your club at the same time. Our Alberta grown hanging baskets have beautiful foliage

and blooms. They are just what you need to welcome spring! These 10” diameter baskets put on a beautiful display of color and will continue to delight for the

summer months.

For 2015, we are happy to offer you baskets of Calibrachoas, Petunias, Geraniums, Mixed Plantings, Strawberries and Tomatoes.

Cost to your Club $15.00 + GST

Excellent profits can be generated selling these locally grown hanging baskets. These same baskets retail at $28 to $36 in a typical garden centre, giving your organization a potential profit of

more than $10 per basket.

Orders should be placed on or before April 17th, 2015. Delivery can be made between May 1st - May 9th, 2015. Alternate dates are available on requests. The baskets will come to you individually wrapped in a large plastic sleeve, which is used to protect the plant during shipping. Each basket will come with a tag providing plant care instructions.

Deliveries for the Edmonton to Calgary corridor will be free of charge. Outside these areas, please contact our office to make arrangements for deliveries.

All payments are due upon receipt of plants. Visa and Mastercard accepted.

Organizers Information Sheet 2015 Spring Hanging Basket Fundraiser

We are pleased to offer to you our selection of Hanging Baskets grown here in Alberta, at Meadowbrook Greenhouses. These plants are grown in a “high soil volume”, 10” diameter plastic basket; hangers are attached. The showy colors of the Hanging Baskets in bloom make them the perfect Mothers Day (May 11) gift for you to sell in your community. Cost and Profit The cost of the baskets is $15.00 + GST. At retail, garden centre’s prices range from $28-$35 for these baskets. This could earn your club a profit of more than $10 per basket. The selling price can be higher or lower if you choose. Packaging The baskets will come to you individually wrapped in a large plastic sleeve, which is used to protect the plant during shipping. Each basket will come with a large picture tag describing the plants, as well as a tag naming your organization. Order Date Orders should be placed on or before April 17th, 2015 Delivery Date Delivery will be scheduled with your input for any date between May 1st and May 9th (Just in time for Mother’s Day). Alternate dates are available.

Delivery Location Deliveries will be made at no charge to locations in the Calgary- Edmonton corridor. Outside of these areas, please contact our office to make arrangements. Sales The “Participants Order Form” is a helpful sales tool. It could be used to record the sales. When the Participant are finished they return the form and monies to you. Feel free to make more copies or contact us for a PDF file which can be used to print more copies on your end. The Greenhouse starts growing the 10” hanging baskets in January and February 2015

The baskets have been trimmed several times to make them full, bushy and stronger.

When you get your baskets keep them moist – not wet.

Fertilize them with any 20-20-20 fertilizer.

Mother Nature will choose your colors. Many different mixed/combination plantings will be made. (Colors and combinations will vary!)
