Bank holidays
We celebrate two bank holidays in May:

1st May – Labour Day :- it commemorates the fight for
the eight hour work day in Chicago, in 1886.

- During communist period in the Czech Republic all people had to participate in big marching parades. It should have shown the collective enthusiasm and pride of communist party.

Many Czech men fought against Nazis especially in Great Britain as pilots. There is held a special army parade in Prague on this day.
