PUBLIC HEARINGSThe Matanuska-Susitna Borough Planning Commission will conduct two public hearings concerning the following applications for a conditional use permits on Monday, November 19, 2012, at 6:15 p.m. in the MSB School District Administration Building at 501 N. Gulkana Street, Palmer, Alaska. Two conditional use permit applications under MSB 17.70 – Regulation of Alcoholic Beverage Uses and MSB 17.61 Core Area Conditional Use Permits have been submitted by Tesoro Northstore Company for a 927 square foot addition to the existing Tesoro facility for the operation of a liquor package store, located on Block 1, Lot 7, Cameron Acres; 3600 E. Palmer/Wasilla Highway; within Township 17 North, Range 1 East, Section 7, Seward Meridian.

These conditional use permits will be introduced for public hearing at the November 5, 2012 Planning Commission meeting. The Planning Commission members may submit questions to the Planning Commission Clerk concerning the matter or request for more information from the applicant at the time of the introduction. All questions and requests submitted by the Commission shall be in writing and copies will be provided to the applicant and made available to all interested parties and the public upon request. Answers to questions and additional material requests will be addressed in the staff report for the public hearing.
