The climate change in the past
The Earth’s climate has always changed, long before we humans existed!
Current global temperatures are warmer than they have been during at least the past five centuries.
Current global temperatures are warmer than before a few years.
The 17 warmest years on record have all occurred in the last 20 years.
Warmer climate: before/after
What will the future look like?
Global temperatures will have risen
between 2 and 4 º C by the end of the 21st century. The actual temperature rise depends partly on how much greenhouse gas is emitted.
How important is climate change for us? Our climate is changing. How we respond to climate change will determine our future, our economy, the
environment and our community. It is not about trying to trust on the future climate
change because we are living it here and now. What matters is what you try to do about it.
