MERRELL LANE MEMORIAL AVIATION SCHOLARSHIP

The Merrell Lane Memorial Aviation Scholarship was established in memory of Merrell Lane, co-founder and the first Chairman of the Niagara Military Affairs Council (NIMAC). Each year NIMAC awards a $1500 scholarship to a well deserving enlisted member assigned to the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station who is in pursuit of an aviation related career.
To be eligible for consideration, applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria: - Age 18 - 30 - Enlisted member currently assigned to the Niagara Falls Air Reserve Station - Enrolled in an accredited private pilot licensing program OR in an aviation related cur-riculum at an accredited College/University
Applicants must submit an essay on the subject “Why I Wish to Pursue a Career in Aviation”, plus letters of recommendation.
