Una rappresentazione di uno spazio abitativo dedicato a chi vive prodotti di qualità, funzionali, concreti;

un incrocio di esperienze, emozioni, percezioni che si rafforza grazie ad un’esplosione di metodi e

processi creativi che si innestano uno nell’altro come sedimentazione di esperienze, viaggi, racconti di vita.

B Loft si mostra come una rappresentazione scenica di oggetti e personalità che dialogano durante una

“tavola rotonda”; al centro il mondo del progetto con le sue sfaccettature e sensibilità, con la capacità di

percorrere produzione industriale ed autoproduzione lungo un fil rouge comune.

Complementi d’arredo che utilizzano materie prime per ospitare oggetti nati dalla sensibilità di creativi

provenienti da formazioni diverse, collocati nel mercato strategico del design di alta qualità in una

ricostruzione vera e “spontanea” dello spazio abitativo.

Tre superfici circolari si definiscono nello spazio in una continua metamorfosi: diverse per

dimensioni e altezza, ruotano insieme intorno ad un unico fulcro metallico, quasi evocando

estetiche planetarie. L’acciaio e il marmo, accostati, creano un contrasto materico freddo/caldo

che aggiunge mutevolezza all’oggetto, valorizzandone l’essenzialità funzionale.

The union / the meeting of the two materials creates the function: the mirrored stainless steel sheet metal is supported on the other, as an extension of herself. A collection of objects that reveal their identity through overlapping and the folds, including hidden elements and obvious elements that reflect the image of the observer in a close correlation of emotions.

vedere di ciò che ci circonda, la parte centrale di Iride si modifica così come le dimensioni della

pupilla sono regolate in base all’intensità luminosa ambientale.

A series of circular planes and curved elements merge themselves to determine shared spaces dedicated to the fruit, to objects, to vacuum. Metaphor of how much we focus on things and on what we want to see around us, the central space of Iride change size as well as change the size of the pupil in according to the light intensity of the environment.

Intrasphere / Il progetto usa l’intersezione tra innovazione, tradizione,

risorse locali e creativitá internazionale creando un habitat adattivo,

riflettendo l’identitá originaria della Val Sarentino ed il suo dialogo con

l’ambiente. Intrasphere avrá la durata di tre anni ed è composto da

tre moduli correlati: die Stub (2015/16) – es Bod (2016/17) – die

Kommor (2017/18). Die Stub è il primo modulo attualmente in sviluppo.

Designer internazionali ed artigiani della Val Sarentino collaborano per

trasporre il tradizionale soggiorno/sala da pranzo alpino in uno spazio

mobile e flessibile. L’obiettivo di questo modulo è di creare un ristorante

temporaneo che puó essere posizionato sulle vette circostanti.

Is the intersection of tradition and innovation, local resources and international creativity, aiming to develop an adaptive living space which reflects the original identity of the Sarntal valley and its dialogue with the environment. We envision intrasphere as a 3 year project composed of 3 correlated modules: Die Stub (2015/16) – es Bod (2016/17) – die Kommor (2017/18). The Stub is the first module which is currently under development in the Sarntal Valley. International designer and local craftmen collaborate to transpose the traditional alpine living and dining room into a mobile and adaptive space. The goal of this module is to create a temporary restaurant which can be positioned on the surrounding mountain peaks.

La combinazione di due artigianati tipici, quello del tornitore e del sellaio, è stata il punto di

partenza per la realizzazione di questo sgabello. La struttura ricorda le tradizionali costruzioni a

traliccio dei fienili.

Starting point for the stool is the combination of two typical craftmenships, that of a wood turner and a saddler. The structure relates to the traditional half-timbered barns.

un ramo di albero.

Delicate natural shapes, in which the irregular form of the honeycomb becomes embellishment and transparency.Soft,honey-coloured shapes in textured glass suggesting the tactile sensations of nature. They are topped with a polished oak cover that can be picked up as if it were a tree branch.

Glass sculpted by the eternal encounter between matter and talent. Transparent monolith, the cocoon of the sculptural soul. Glass sculpture inspired by architecture. These “marbles”, both imposing and lithe, aggregate substance in return for rays of light. Unique installations, their edges and polished surfaces betray flights of fancy of skilled glass artists. Vases with designs that recall metaphysical architecture, and so recast the space/volume ratio of geometric forms while evoking wonder. These five uniquely versatile decorations have double cut at the base so they can also be used in the inclined position.

Paesaggi mutevoli, nuvole eteree che si distendono su cumuli pietrificati creando composizioni

coinvolgenti, oggetti d’uso sempre mutevoli grazie alle forme spontanee del vetro che rievocano

luoghi antichi. I Cumuli sono composti da elementi in marmo Bianco Carrara realizzati a tornio

manuale che diventano base di sostegno ed origine per le bolle di vetro soffiato a bocca,

adagiate sulla pietra; un contatto magico che imprime forme, giochi di trasparenza e inclinazioni

naturali della materia che si insegue e diventa generatrice di geometrie mai uguali.

Shifting landscapes inspired by the heavens and the earth, magical places on the fringes of human memory give rise to overlapping materials and visual emotions. Ethereal clouds billowing over petrified vapour to create appealing combinations, everyday objects that are constantly changing by virtue of spontaneous glass shapes evoking ancient places. Cumuli are made of Carrara white marble elements formed using a manual lathe, which become the support and origin of the mouth-blown glass bubbles resting on the stone. This magical meeting imparts the shapes, plays of transparency and natural propensities of the material, pursuing and producing forms that are never the same.

Gothic atmospheres inspiring glass artists. The material flows, it expands in space, spreading out almost to infinity. This mouth-blown glass vase creates the perfect explosion into dozens of studs that hearken back to the shapes of new punk. Transparent drops of light in acid green or blue indigo like the skies over Namibia, restless and rough, for a unique, contemporary design.

Sculture bianco latte da cui emergono anime fulgide, ambra, ametista e turchese, evocate dalle

molature handmade. Oggetti unici che rivendicano nell’ambiente la propria identità.

Waves, circles and almost Euclidean lines. Like a triangle, given shape by its legs and design by its hypotenuse. A striking contrast between the light naive originality of the texture and the stateliness of the material flowing together and giving birth to art. Milk white sculptures bursting forth with dazzling amber, amethyst and turquoise souls, drawn out through engraving by hand. Unique objects with an identity grounded in the natural world.

Polvere che si fa liquida per l’energia del fuoco, è poi il soffio dell’uomo con

l’abbraccio del legno a dare forma e anima. Sedimenti è una serie limitata di

vasi realizzati grazie alla sensibilità del maestro vetraio che soffia una massa

di vetro ad alta temperatura su dei rami di vite provenienti dalle campagne

toscane, che vengono così inglobati nella composizione. L’oggetto che ne

risulta presenta quindi un’unicità dovuta alla singolarità di ogni ramo di vite,

all’interpretazione formale che ne dà la designer e infine alla sensibilità del

maestro vetraio nel realizzarla durante la soffiatura del vetro.

Powder that becomes liquid due to the power of fire, and then the breath of man with a wooden embrace to impress shape and soul. Sedimenti is a limited series of vases produced thanks to the sensitivity of the master glassmaker who blows a mass of glass at high temperature on some vine branches from Tuscany countryside, which are in this way absorbed into the composition. Therefore the resulting object shows a uniqueness due to the singularity of each vine branch, to the formal interpretation by the designer and finally to the sensitivity of the master glassmaker when he manufactures it during the glass blowing.

Una decorazione di volute ingentilite da una farfalla centrale a comporre uno

stralcio di cornice attorno a uno specchio disponibile in versione ovale e

tonda.

Un’interpretazione contemporanea della decorazione a foglia d’acanto,

classicamente scolpita nella pietra, che in questo progetto si de-materializza

nella trasparenza del vetro fuso in stampo e si arricchisce dei riflessi della

finitura retro-argentata.

A decoration of refined coils from a central butterfly, to create a rough frame around a mirror, available in oval or round versions. A contemporary interpretation of the acanthus leaf decoration, classically sculpted in stone, which here is dematerialised in the transparency of moulded molten glass and enhanced with reflections from the back silver-plated finish.

La candela fa luce su uno spazio bidimensionale trasformandolo in vibrazione

tridimensionale. Una reinterpretazione formale del classico candelabro dove la parte

strutturale è dovuta al materiale fragile (il vetro) mentre al di sopra una illusione

grafica diventa struttura metallica e portacandele. In questa composizione gli elementi

possono avvicinarsi e costruire una texture bidimensionale che ricorda le vecchie

pavimentazioni in graniglia; si ricostituiscono la memoria, il segno, i momenti di vita

quotidiana.

A candle enlightens a two-dimensional space, giving it a three-dimensional illusion. The Spazio Tempo collection is a formal reinterpretation of the classic chandelier, in which the structure is made of brittle material (glass), while above, a graphic illusion gives way to a metallic structure and candle holders. The elements create a twodimensional texture, reminding one of aged floors. The creations are therefore symbolic memories of what has passed before; signs and moments of every day life.

“ANTILOPE” è uno sgabello acqua e sapone che si racconta per come è fatto: una combinazione

di legno e metallo, l’uno a supporto dell’altro, che si esprime visivamente per la sua funzione che

diventa il disegno stesso dell’oggetto. Smontabile, è pensato per essere trasportato in un packaging

ridotto.

A beautiful object is a honest, not-desguised object, that shows itself how it really is. “ANTILOPE” is a fresh-faced stool, explaining how it is made: a mixture of wood and steel, sustaining each others, that visually expresses its purpose by its own design. Designed to be totally dissambled and delivered in a small package.

“30.5” è composto da sei spicchi di lamiera, piegati e saldati fra loro, poi verniciato a polvere.

La fragilità della fiamma.

Gli oggetti sono fatti non solo di materia, ma

anche di gesto. Pensare un oggetto significa

pensare un elemento tangibile connesso a una

trama di azioni che lo rendono vivo. Ritorno è un

portacandele in metallo composto da un disco

d’appoggio e uno per la presa, la cui presenza

materiale è stata ridotta al minimo per evidenziare

una gestualità ormai dimenticata. A sostegno

della candela si è scelto di utilizzare le proprietà

collanti della cera per lasciare che sia questa a

modellare il tempo con la propria forma, struttura

e posizione.

The fragility of a flame.Objects are not only made of matter but also by gestures. Creating an object means thinking of a tangible element associated with a sequence of actions that bring it to life. Ritorno is a metal candle holder composed by a disk on which to rest the candle and another from which to hold it, whose material presence has been minimized to highlight a forgotten gesture. The adhesive properties of wax have been chosen as backing for the candle, allowing it to sculpt the time with its own shape, structure and position.

“VELA” nasce dall’unione di un paralume, formato da una lamiera tagliata laser, e un cilindro metallico che

ospita la luce. Il particolare degli incastri e l’incontro tra le superfici regalano una geometria sobria, pulita,

iconica e presente.

“VELA” is the result of a design process for a lamp born from the desire to simplify the process and make the finishing be the design main feature. The quality of a product is perceived by the details that enhance its beauty and embellish an object .“VELA” is born from the union of a lampshade, formed from a laser cutted sheet and a metal cylinder with the light inside. The detail of the joints and the meeting between the surfaces give a sober, clean and iconic geometry.

quinta decorativa. Il decoro forato permette di

creare giochi cromatici con la parete retrostante e

fra di essi.

“VENTAGLI “are metal vases inspired by traditional paper and bamboo fans called “Uchiwa”. The metal sheet that gets stuck in special cuts in the vase, works to support the flower but also as a decorative backdrop. The drilled decoration creates chromatic games with the back wall and between themselves (if placed side by side).

nella loro disposizione sparsa sulla tavola creano un paesaggio naturale,

pozze eteree, laghi e specchi d’acqua in una composizione grafica ed

ordinata.

Metal sheets and corian rings insert each others, fixing and attracting in a superficial tension. A collection of circular plates - to use in both sides - which, once piled, determine several volumes depending on their positioning, and, reversed, in scattered ways, create a natural landscape, ethereal pits, lakes and sheets of water in a graphic and orderly composition.

“REeREGINA” sono una coppia di lampade ad olio in alluminio e componenti tecniche in

ottone. La forma è ibrida, punto d’incontro tra il candeliere e le vecchie lampade a petrolio

di fine Ottocento.

Ogni lampada racconta una storia d’amore, il RE è la storia di due uomini innamorati,

mentre la REGINA è la storia di due donne innamorate.

Il colore nero mette l’accento sul profilo della lampada, mentre l’ottone spicca e sottolinea

cosa possiamo toccare per regolare la fiamma.

“REeREGINA” nella loro immagine ferma e scultorea vengono tornite da un profilo di

alluminio e restano immobili a raccontarci la storia d’amore di questi personaggi.

“REeREGINA” are an aluminium couple of oil lamp and brass technical parts. It is a hybrid shape, match between a chandelier and the 19th century vintage oil lamp. Each lamp tells a love story; RE is a story between two men in love, REGINA, instead, is the story between two women in love.The black colour plays up on the profile of the lamp, while the brass accentuates what it is used for set the flame. “REeREGINA” in their still and sculptural shape have been lathed from an aluminium profile, standing still to tell us a love story of these characters.

continua evoluzione, per gli effetti del sale della laguna veneta. Realizzato con la tecnica del

tufting mediante telaio verticale - attraverso una modalita unica nel suo genere, protetta da

brevetto - con l’utilizzo di lana neozelandese di qualita extra e l’uso del massimo numero di

colori disponibili per la macchina da tessitura, Sottoportico misura 150 cm L x 200 H.

Sottoportico aims to pays homage to Venice and its porticos consumed by water: the harmony of abstract superimpositions, highly evocative in their forms and colours, indeed aims to evoke typical Venetian architecture and the unmistakeable colours of the city which is in continual evolution, due to the effects of the salt of the Venetian lagoon. Made with the tufting technique on a vertical loom – a unique and patented method – using extra quality New Zealand wool and the maximum number of colours available for the weaving machine, Sottoportico measures 150 x 200 cm.

Set di tavolini da appoggio che vuole essere un omaggio e,

al tempo stesso, una rivisitazione dell’intreccio a spaghetti,

l’antica lavorazione manuale della ceramica di Bassano del

Grappa. Utilizzata fino ad oggi nello sviluppo di decorazioni

classiche, la tecnica dello spaghetto diventa quindi, per

la prima volta, protagonista di un complemento d’arredo

contemporaneo, a cui infonde tutta la sua carica espressiva

e cromatica. I colori utilizzati rappresentano un ulteriore

omaggio alla tecnica dello spaghetto: sono proprio queste

le tonalita dei decori che arricchiscono i cesti in ceramica

intrecciati a Bassano del Grappa.

Set of coffee tables which are both an homage, and at the same time a revisitation of the spaghetti weave, the ancient manual ceramic technique from Bassano del Grappa. Used up to the present day to develop classical decorations, the spaghetti technique is now for the first time the protagonist of a contemporary piece of furniture, in which it instils all its expressive and chromatic energy. The colours represent a further homage to the spaghetti technique, as they are precisely those which decorate the ceramic baskets woven in Bassano del Grappa.

Le lampade da tavolo led a illuminazione indiretta della serie

Novecento si ispirano a materiali e forme art déco. Vengono

proposte dal designer Davide Giulio Aquini in due versioni, una

in nero Marquinia, l’altra in bianco di Carrara, con la possibilità di

personalizzazione del tipo di marmo su richiesta. Gli spessi dischi

in marmo posano su strutture in ottone triangolari dall’aspetto

quasi simbolico. Anche quando l’illuminazione non è attiva,

Novecento valorizza il marmo quale elemento d’arredo, con le sue

venature e screziature uniche e irripetibili che si compongono e

inseguono sulla superficie lucida.

Novecento is a collection of LED table lamps inspired by art deco. They are proposed by the designer Davide G Aquini in two versions, one in black Marquinia, the other in white Carrara. Different marbles are available on request. The thick marble discs rest on triangular, almost symbolic, brass structure. Even when the light is off, Novecento enhances the marble as a piece of furniture, with its unique veins and unrepeatable speckles that show on the shiny surface.

Dedicata all’Alfa Romeo 6C 2300 Gran Turismo, la nuova lampada di Davide G. Aquini segue

la stessa poetica retrofuturistica della Novecento (ndr: altra lampada dello stesso designer),

utilizzando gli stessi materiali, cioè marmo e ottone, con risultati estetici del tutto nuovi. Come un

fanale sporgente dell’automobile simbolo della progettazione streamline degli anni ‘30, la fonte

d’illuminazione in Gran Turismo è denunciata apertamente, anche se schermata dalla lastra di ottone

per creare una soffusa luce indiretta. Gran Turismo è una gioiosa macchina del tempo, che parte

dal recupero di materiali della tradizione per aggiornarli a un gusto minimal retro fatto di elementi

rigorosi e dettagli ironici.

Dedicated to the Alfa Romeo 6C 2300 Gran Turismo, my new lamp follows retrofuturistic poetics using marble and brass. Like the protruding headlight of the car symbol of the streamline design of the ‘30s, the light source in Gran Turismo is not concealed - on the contrary in reveals itself boldly, even though the brass screen plate creates a soft indirect light. Gran Turismo is a sophisticated time machine: from the revival of traditional materials to their updating to meet the contemporary-minimal taste, made of rigorous elements and iconic details.

Ispirato al famoso romanzo “Il Piccolo Principe”, dove il protagonista si prendeva amorevolmente

cura della sua rosa, Petit è un piccolo vaso adatto a contenere e dare risalto ad un unico fiore reciso.

La base in marmo Bianco di Carrara o Grigio Bardiglio, estratto e lavorato a Carrara, può ospitare

una piccola fiala per l’acqua e sostiene una leggera struttura in metallo nero che incornicia il fiore

reciso.

La produzione è affidata ad Apuana Corporate, una rete informale di laboratori artigianali di

lavorazione del marmo. Grazie al coordinamento di Claudio Morelli, figlio d’arte della lavorazione delle

basi in marmo, Apuana Corporate ha vinto il premio SMAU Nazionale “Il digitale per fare business”.

Inspired by the famous novel “The Little Prince”, in which the protagonist took care of his beloved rose, Petit is a small vase to contain and emphasize only one cut-flower. The base in Carrara marble houses a small vial and supports a lightweight metal with black finishing, that comes in different forms, pleasantly framing the cut-flower. Petit is produced by Apuana Corporate, an informal network of marble-processing workshops. Thanks to the vision of Claudio Morelli, for whom innovation runs in the family, Apuana Corporate won the Italian SMAU “Il digitale per fare business”.

In a world where the food system is so complicated that I no longer know where my food comes from and how it is produced, I feel the longing for a new relationship with what we eat. Una libreria freestanding, realizzata in legno di frassino,

completamente smontabile, composta da quattro

strutture a forma di scala, che incrociate sorreggono le

cinque mensole.

Wilma is a bookcase that takes inspiration from the construction system of the old Tyrolean barns, where a double cross structure supports the lintel. But it is also a tribute to the famous Red Cloud bookcase designed by Vico Magistretti, produced by Cassina. A freestanding bookcase, made of wood ash, completely dismantled, consisting of four shaped structures of scale, which crossed the five supporting shelves.

Caraffe e bicchieri in vetro borosilicato lavorato a mano.

La prima nata della famiglia TAKE è la caraffa da 75 cl, frutto del principio decorazione=funzione.

Il progetto mira alla creazione di oggetti da usare, oggetti in cui la valenza estetica non superi la

funzione, ma al contrario, ne sia d’ausilio e di supporto. La caraffa TAKE evoca il tronco del bambù

ed è perseguendo questa suggestione che è stato disegnato il taglio del beccuccio, che rimanda alle

fontane giapponesi con il braccio basculante in bambù.

e maestro vetraio sono nati i porta candele

trasparenti, in cui la piccola tea candle sembra

tremolare sospesa nel vuoto.

The designers have asked expert artisans to abandon the traditional technique, to forget the precise gestures repeated many times, to use the familiar tools in a different way, as to give the impression of a spontaneous gesture, random. un oggetto dalle linee organiche, acquatiche, dalla precisa funzione di contenere, che si distacca dal

carattere più tradizionalmente decorativo della murrina.

It’s a stone thrown into the water lagoon, a challenge taken up by a company with a century-old tradition. Splash explores forms of modeling the murrina never experienced before and the result is an object with organic lines, aquatic, that still have the precise function of holding, distant from the more traditional decorative character of the murrina.

La storia di tutti i giorni si scrive in cucina (e/o alla lavagna). L’idea

nasce dall’intenzione di disegnare un tagliere da appendere a parete

come si usava una volta, ma va subito oltre e trova un’altra ragione

e un’altra funzione. Una delle due facce si riveste di laminato e così

l’oggetto appeso al muro diventa una lavagna, mentre voltato sul

piano di lavoro ritorna un classico tagliere. Le tre diverse forme sono

pensate per adattarsi alla forma dell’alimento da tagliare.

The story of everyday is written in the kitchen (and / or on the blackboard). The idea was born from the intention of drawing a cutting board to hang on the wall as once, but immediately goes over and finds another reason and another function. fare. La testa e le mani sono i principali elementi della nostra evoluzione, grazie a loro l’uomo si

evolverà nei tempi. Con l’opera Rock Face ho voluto rappresentare l’icona di un volto vissuto che

racchiude storie di epoche differenti, un volto in cui si coglie ancora l’espressività di una storia epica

nella sua evoluzione dei tempi, grazie alla ragione e la conoscenza si diventa Templari di Vita in varie

forme, come nell’arte ad esempio. Quel volto imponente segnato dal tempo e pieno di forza viene

impresso su una superficie altamente resistente: la fibra di vetro.

The expression of a face, an era, which transfers our know how from generation to generation. Our head and hands are the key elements of our evolution, thanks to them humans will evolve through time. In Sacred Geometry - lampade a parete di grandi

dimensioni realizzate in bronzo - attraverso lo

studio e l’applicazione della geometria sacra,

ricrea le condizioni per indurre la mente al silenzio

e alla contemplazione.

In Gio Minelli’s work there is a strong artistic influence, due to his professional career, combined with an ongoing formal research.It is an expressive work, gestual: each object is unique, always different. In a sort of mimetic process, everyday objects become the representation of landscapes and places visited and lived by the same author.In Sacred Geometry - large wall lamps made of bronze - through the study and application of sacred geometry, Gio Minelli re-created the conditions to lead one’s mind to silence and contemplation.

I pezzi sono realizzati utilizzando frutti marci. Sono state salvate le loro trame straordinarie proprio nel momento in cui

sono più belle.

Sono stati utilizzati per catturare la bellezza nel suo naturale processo di decadimento. L’uso dell’argilla aumenta la fragilità

e la preziosità delle texture.

Per mostrare le texture sono stati ombreggiati con sfumature di colore, creando l’illusione di colore cangiante.

The pieces are made by using rotten fruits. Casting them helped the artist capture and save their extraordinary textures

just at the time when they are the most beautiful.

Rotten Beauty. Rotten Fruits have been used as models to capture the naturally beautiful process of decay. Cast at

the time when it is the most beautiful. The use of clay enhances the fragility and preciousness of the textures. At the

same time making the vessel hygenic and usable .To really show off the textures the pieces have been shaded with

complementing color gradients, creating an iridescent color illusion when moved up and down.

E’ una rivisitazione del cellophane utilizzato per i fiori. E’ una trasformazione della funzione usa

e getta in una soluzione permanente. Rivalutando concetti spesso derisi, l’ispirazione per questo

oggetto viene proprio dal fascino kitsch. Il design minimalista è sottolineato da linee ben ponderate

per rappresentare la sagoma idealizzata di un bouquet classico. L’intento è aumentare la bellezza

di ogni fiore o per sdrammatizzare anche un solo ramo- in tutti i casi l’obiettivo è un display

simbiotico. Il vaso è realizzato artigianalmente in vetro da maestri soffiatori tedeschi.

The Bouquet Vase is a reimagining of the ephemeral cellophane wrap used to parcel flowers

from shop to home. The design is a transformation of the all too-familiar throwaway feature into a

permanent and bold display. Re-evaluating oft-derided concepts of taste and style, the inspiration

for this design comes from a fascination with kitsch, but here there is a focus on clean and simple

elements. The minimalist design is emphasised by well considered lines and shapes to represent

the idealised silhouette of a classic bouquet. The intent of the Bouquet Vase is to heighten the

beauty of any fine selection of flowers or to dramatise even a single tree branch - in all cases the

goal is for a symbiotic display.

ad occhi chiusi.

Half a garden seat in which a recycled plank is inserted perhaps to rest also on something else. Bartleby is a crippled seat from which to explore its different uses, rotating the counter-top it can turn into a table, a stand or a simple support for brief stops under the sun, eyes closed.
