Users must pay attention to the level switch of USER IO points during operation (refer to

the definition of C-2 below) and switch to the corresponding level according to IN pointvoltage mode. Failing to switch to the correct level might cause IN points to have no

    response.

    C-2USER IN level switch

DefinitionThere is a level switch of USER IN connector at C-2 for NPN/PNP mode switch. The

default value is PNP mode. In NPN mode, USER IN signals are low active (0V) when IN

points are connected to 0V. In PNP mode, USER IN signals are high active (E24V) when

IN points are connected to E24V.

Connector definitionSwitching to the left is NPN mode, to the right PNP mode (default).

The current of the controllers O points must be less than 60m A. The formula of current is

    listed as below

Imax = VEE/R (R refers to the rated resistance value of the equipment in use.)

If the current exceeds this value, the component would get burned. Please be

    extremely careful.

Please connect VEE power ground of loading resistance (R) to EGND (E24V GND) of the

    Calculation of I/O points

(1). For the hardware of the controlling side that adopts PCC-1840 with EIO-2000-2, the max. I/O points

    are

    2 (control ports) 2( EIO-2000-2) 60 IN = 240 IN points

    2(control ports) 2( EIO-2000-2) 48 OUT = 192 OUT points

(2). For the hardware of the controlling side that adopts LNC-510i with SIO-1540 I/O module, the max.

    I/O points are

    1 (control ports) 2(SIO-1540) 40 IN = 80 IN points

    1 (control ports) 2(SIO-1540) 32 OUT = 64 OUT points

Apply the formula above for other calculations accordingly.

Please refer to the operation instruction of each hardware for the operation method.

    (1). PNP mode (Default value)

The serial wiring is an 1-to-1 connection. When manufacturing the wiring by yourself,

please pay attention to the shielding of the lead materials. Please refer to appendix 1.

SLAVE SWITCHThis switch sets the number of SLAVE. The set SLAVE can only function properly within the application

of relative software and PLC programming. After SLAVE is set, please do not change the setting if no

    necessary.

Set IO module to SLAVE 1: Switch 1 (S1) to the bottom, and 2 & 3 to the top.

Set IO module to SLAVE 2: Switch 2 (S2) to the bottom, and 1 & 3 to the top.

    E24V/EGND POWER INPUT PINS

    1. There is one power connector for 40IN/ 32OUT, and 2 power connectors for 60IN/ 48OUT. The

power supply is used for IO input/output. Please input E24V via the 2 connectors to insure power

    stability.

    2. When the power is input normally, the light of E24V will turn on.

The input voltage must be within the range of 24V0.5V.

Please input the FG contact to the earth of POWER rather than EGND. To connect earthand EGND will cause unexpected damage. Please pay extra attention for wiring.

When EIO-2000 module is connected to the controller unit, after the power is on, this light turns on to

indicate that power supply of the module is ready.

    CS, DO lights

If EIO-2000 module is connect to the controller properly, after the power is on, CS & DO lights will turn on.

If only one light turns on, this means there is some abnormality, and the following transmission will not be

    successful.

    LK, DI lights

After the CS & DO lights turn on, if the set number of SLAVE in EIO-2000 module and the controllers

PLC software are the same, and the transmission is normal, the LK & DI lights will turn on.

    E24V light

When E24V light is on, this means the power supply of IO interface works normally. If this light is off,

there will be no response of IO points.

    DEIO ports

DefinitionD & E connectors are connected to REL boards for IO control. When applied with a REL

board, each port can control 20IN/ 16OUT points.

Apply IN points directly(without using REL board).

Apply O points directly (without using REL board).

The type of O points is the SOURCE TYPE. When there is an E24V output voltage, the max. current is

    60mA.

Please do not select a loading current that is over 60mA or it might cause damage to

components.E24V/60 mA=400 The loading resistance cannot be less than this value.

Please pay extra attention that IC will immediately get burned when O points touch the
