CHEMICAL TANKER

The CHT system provides a realistic simulation tool for operations with liquid

chemical products.

CHT MODEL INCLUDES:

Ship's hull

Cargo system (deep-well pumps, valves, pipelines

and tanks)

Terminal connection

Ballast system

Cargo heating system

Stripping system (submerged pumps)

Slop retention system with ODME discharge monitor

Tank washing and cleaning system

Inert gas plant and inert gas distribution line

Vent and vapor systems

LIQUEFIED NATURAL GAS CARRIER

All onboard operations with Liquefied Natural Gas Cargo are realistically simulated

with this model.

LNG MODEL INCLUDES:

Ballast system

Cargo system

Terminal connection

Auxiliary cargo systems

(Machinery room)

Inert gas production system

Nitrogen production system

COMPETENCE ASSESSMENT SYSTEM

The Competence Assessment System (CAS) is designed for conducting performance

tests for various cargo handling operations. The Transas CAS is based on official inter-

national regulations set up for training the deck officers of a variety of vessel types.

THE CAS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING PRINCIPAL MODULES:

Editor - for editing the test contents

Tester - for conducting the tests

Viewer - for maintaining and viewing the results of the tests

TRANSAS LIQUID CARGO HANDLING SIMULATORS

Transas Liquid Cargo Handling Simulators provide both the full behavioral and

physical realism of actual onboard cargo handling operations. Realistically simulated

processes have been developed in absolute compliance with the actual capabilities

of equipment, including functional limitations and possible errors and failures.

Specialized training is conducted under the supervision of an Instructor, who is capable

of setting the tasks, as well as monitoring and controlling the Trainee's performance

during the exercises. A Debriefing facility allows subsequent analysis. Exercises can be

reviewed in real-time or fast-time modes. Different time scales are available in the fast-

time mode to achieve optimal compression of the exercise's duration.

The simulator configuration consists of an Instructor workplace and up to 12

PC-based Trainee workplaces.

LARGE CRUDE OIL CARRIER

The LCC simulator is specially designed for the training of personnel responsible

for cargo operations on Crude Carriers and Product Carriers.

LCC MODEL INCLUDES:

Ship's hull

Cargo system (pumps, valves, pipelines and tanks)

Ballast system (pumps, valves, pipelines and tanks)

Terminal connection

Stripping system (piston pump and ejector)

Crude oil and sea water washing system

Slop system and oily water settling and discharge system

Tank vent system

Inert gas plant and distribution system

LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GAS CARRIER

The LPG simulator provides a comprehensive training solution for cargo

operations on LPG vessels.

LPG MODEL INCLUDES:

Ship's hull

Cargo system (pumps, valves, pipelines and tanks)

Terminal connection

Stripping system

Tank vent system

Inert gas plant and system

Cargo heating system

Reliquefaction system
