• Billboard maintains many international recognized record charts, which follow the most popular songs and albums across different categories on a weekly basis

• The publishing agency describes the magazine as "a leading publisher of music and entertainment titles“

• Tries to bring in a range of people for a interest in music and elaborate on it by reading what's new within the magazine, also allows the audience to see what's new

AudienceTarget Market? Who it appeals to?...

• Reaches the audience of both boy and girl, as it isn't allocated to one gender

• Ranges from the of about 16, to a adult in their late 20’s as it is suitable for a range of people due to the fact that it allocates all new music but of different genres too

• It is a very matured lay out not targeting it at one age group

• Covers the likes of genres such as rock, R n B, metal, etc.

• It also doesn’t convey gossip about different singers, but gives basis information of what's new in the charts

RepresentationHow is it represented?...

• Drake is looking directly at the camera with a stern and sharp effect. The image is black and white giving it more of an effective way of looking at the magazine while everything else allocated around him has got aspects of colouring within it.

• He head is tilted towards the side but still looking eye on, the banner going across his forehead giving it more of a effect but also to show he is the main story within the magazine as he is the only image situated on the fronting of the magazine.

• Q felt that instead of the average target audience being the younger generation, to instead aim it those at a older age, both gender, the age range depending on the over 25’s

•It also aims at music back in the past which the younger generation may not know so fits the older type

•The cost is a little more over average but can be affordable for those at a older age

•With this ‘Adele’ the icon of this release is looking directly at the camera but with a turned back, looking over shoulder. This is to give it a bigger effect, also with her finger on her lip.
