Life is an award-winning Science Centre full ofexciting hands-on exhibitions and activities thatare all included in the admission price. Enjoyshows in our state-of-the-art planetarium andScience Theatre, take a whirl on the 4D MotionRide and explore our interactive exhibitions.

For scouting and girl guiding groups we also offerspecial badge days and sleepover events, as wellas group packages for our open air ice rink,which is open each year from November toFebruary. There are no limits to the size of yourparty; we’re very flexible and can provide mealpackages, bespoke workshops in our laboratoriesand even exclusive hire of the whole ScienceCentre or ice rink!

Badge DaysAt Life we offer specially tailored visits to helpBrownies and Cubs towards their Stargazerand Astronomer badges, and to help Browniestowards their Science Investigator Badge.*

Group leaders will receive an information packdetailing the requirements of the badge, whatwill be achieved during the visit and whichadditional activities need to be undertaken to complete the badges.

SleepoversPack your sleeping bags for a whole night inthe Science Centre! Sleepovers at Life can betailored to meet your group’s requirements, but typically include full access to the ScienceCentre, a special indoor campfire, activities,games, refreshments and time in our gift shop.

We can cater for a whole range of groups toattend a sleepover at Life. We provide a safeand comfortable environment and ourexperienced staff will ensure you have anenjoyable stay. If you would like to incorporateone of our badge days with your sleepover weare very happy to discuss the ideal package foryour group.
