Coming in to learn, Going out

to live!

Letter to Romans - Gospel According to Paul, Guide to Daily Christian LivingThe epistle to the Romans is a complete, logical, inspired answer to the great question of the ages, “How should a man be just with God?” In the Old Testament, the Gospels, and the Acts, are found scattered in different places teachings concerning that great doctrine which forms the very foundation of Romans. It has remained for the apostle Paul to gather up these teachings and adding to them the special revelations given to him by God, to give us the most complete statement of doctrine found in the New Testament. He has embodied this in an epistle which has been called “the cathedral of Christian doctrine.” Join us as we explore this epistle on Christian living. Teacher: Ferdinand RipollRoom: MPR

Marriage WorkshopGod has designed marriage to work. What He creates will work, if we follow His plan for it. In this workshop, we will look at foundational principles that can guarantee that every relationship and marriage will be successful if two people make a commitment to work at it. This class is for those who struggle in marriage as well as those who want to enhance what they already have. It will also work for those thinking about being married or are engaged. Come and learn how to guarantee that your marriage will be healthy and blessed.Teachers: Jody WoodRoom: Choir Room

Alpha CourseA practical introduction to Christianity. This is a 10 week course for those looking to explore the Christian faith in a non-threatening, friendly environment. This course is also great for those new to the Christian faith that need to learn the basics or someone who has been a Christian for a while but wants to brush up on the basics. Teacher: Paul BowmanRoom: 203

Living the 23rd PsalmIn this study, we will examine every single verse of the twenty-third Psalm in depth. We will study how it relates to our lives right now--not just when we “walk through the valley of the shadow of death.” We will look at the Hebrew names for God that describe God in each verse. We will learn a lot about the Shepherd and about being sheep. When this study is over, you will never look at this Psalm the same again. It will be more alive to you than it has ever been before, and it will be more precious to you than ever before. Come and take a close up and very personal look at the Shepherd--you will be changed forever. Teacher: Kathy BurtonRoom: 205

SUNDAY CLASSES CONTINUED

Biker Bible Study - A Walk Through PsalmsPlease note: All are welcomeMore psalms were written by David than any other person. Why would God use the words of a man who committed murder, adultery, and made a mess of his family life to express worship, spiritual instruction, and encouragement? The answer is found in 1 Samuel 16:7 “The Lord does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance but the Lord looks at the heart.” And God from start to finish accorded David the highest of designations: “I have found David son of Jesse a man after my own heart.” 1Samuel 13:14. Come out and allow the psalms to reveal not only David’s heart but God’s heart as well. Allow God through the psalms to look into your heart and like David you too may come away with a psalm in your heart.Teacher: Dan Burton Room: 206

America’s Voice - The ConstitutionHave you ever wondered just what our U.S. Constitution says? Is there really a separation of church and state? Join us as we review the founding documents of the United States: Declaration of Independence, U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights, by Rick Green. Discussion will focus on how these documents have shaped the Godly foundation of our country. We will also look at how we, as Christians, can become involved to assure that public policies reflect our Biblical values. Teacher: Cheryl PrecourtRoom: 208

You can make Calvary smaller...

and bigger...dynamic worship,

preaching and teaching is what we’ve

come to expect at Calvary on Sunday

mornings. While enjoying the large

weekly celebration service, we also

need to be a part of a meaningful

network of friends. In a hurried and

busy world, that’s often easier to say

than to do. That’s why Calvary provides

Life groups to help you Connect, Grow,

Serve and Share.

Add people to your life! All of our groups exist to help people connect to

God and connect to others through sharing life

together. Our interest-based groups create

environments for people to do this within the

context of shared activities—Bible study, mountain

biking, scrapbooking, photography, etc.

New groups typically start in the Fall, Winter and

Spring, but you can join most groups at any time.

Once you find the group that interests you, simply contact the leader to get the details about the

next meeting.
