East Palo Alto Apostolic Church I encourage you to join a Life Group this Winter semester which begins the first week of February. At EPA Apostolic Church, we believe in connecting with others in our church and community. We do this through weekly home gatherings...Life Groups. Life Groups give you an opportunity to meet others, develop lasting friendships, and hang out with friends while studying the word of God. The book of Acts is very clear about how God intends for His people to grow and have their needs met by the church. We could never hire enough pastors to meet the individual needs for everyone in our church family. God never intended it to be that way. Consider these verses: “They devoted themselves to the apostles teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They continued to meet together...they broke bread in their homes and ate together...The Lord added to their numbers daily those who were being saved.” Acts 2:42, 44, 46-47 Blessings, Pastor Jacob Rodriguez A Place to Belong Winter 2012 Life Groups Catalog East Palo Alto Apostolic Church 721 Donohoe St. East Palo Alto, CA 94303 Sunday Worship: 1:00 PM

What is a Life Group?

A Life Group is a gathering of people (typically 10-15 people) who meet together regularly for fellowship and discipleship (weekly or bi-weekly). Most of our groups are mixed groups where all types of people and families are welcomed. Some of our groups are interest groups, which are based on age, stage of life or activities. All of our groups exist to help people connect to God and connect to others.

How Does it Work?

Life Groups run on a 10-12 week semester system, which includes Winter, Summer and Fall. There is a one month break in between semesters. During the break, you can sign up for the same group again or a different group.

How Do I Join a Life Group?

Visit the Life Group registration table following our 1:00 PM service, and choose your group by filling out and turning in the registration card. Then your leader will get in touch with you.
