their task, teacher plays the

song with the lyrics on PPT.

complete Task Sheet 1.

PRODUCTION

4. Each group reads their

riddles in front of the class.

Self- reflection:

On the whole, the lesson was carried out well. Like Dr Zarina had mentioned, I found that pupils really enjoyed watching animated video compared to

singing songs during the set induction. Pupils simply loved watching ‘The Lion King’. Even the music video was a good choice. Pupils were very

interested in the song. Before the lesson, I wasn’t sure if my pupils would enjoy the music video but it turned out to be a success. Although, a few

weak pupils found it difficult following the lyrics but they enjoyed singing along. I was also happy to see pupils discussing among themselves to

generate ideas for their riddles. Nevertheless, some of them were conversing in Malay. This was the only challenge I faced. However, I just corrected

the pupils rather than reprimanding them. This is because I wanted my pupils to participate actively during the group work.
