GM Coachwork the LDV EV80 is the first

lightweight electric minibus.

The EV80 features 8 seats plus the driver with the

option to remove 8 seats to create space for 3

wheelchair passengers.

Boasting a zero emissions output from its 100 kW

electric motor the EV80 can be operated in LEZ

and ULEZ zones. A range of 100 urban miles

means it’s an ideal inner-city transport solution

that you can operate all day.

In its standard layout the EV80 comes with 8 seats

plus the driver. These fully tested lightweight seats

feature all-age integral belts and can be removed

from their floor tracking to create space for up to 3

wheelchair passengers.

A PLS Access Eco lightweight underfloor lift stows

neatly beneath the vehicle not impeding on rear

cabin space.

NMI patented Ultra-Lite composite floor with rails is bonded to the existing van floor. Supplied exactly to drawing as requested by the customer. This means the tracks can be positioned anywhere and the floor is supplied in one piece with wheel arches cut out and vinyl fitted. Fully compliant to European Regulations and suitable for all vehicle types, Ultra-Lite is the lightest and quickest fitment solution on the market. Ultra-Lite can be combined with the complete range of NMI lightweight products - from removable seat fixings, rear impact protection seats for wheelchair passengers and SitSafe for children to travel in complete safety and security.

Cogent Passenger Seating have redeveloped their Eagle M1 seat to be lighter for the electric vehicle market. However, no comfort has been forfeited to achieve this and multiple optional extras are available. The Eagle seat has been ergonomically designed and custom spec’d for this vehicle featuring London Hire breathable fabric and wipe clean bases, a soft trimmed headrest for support plus belts mounted higher up the backrest to give extra webbing thereby aiding manoeuvrability for the occupant. The Eagle seating range has been extensively tested at both Cogent’s own test facility and independent test houses. All Cogent products come with our high level customer after sales service. If you’re not standing, you need to be Cogent seated for comfort and reliability. Ultra light M2 seat options are also available.
