Nancy Trefny Memorial Scholarship In 2012, Dick Trefny established an endowed memorial scholarship fund to honor his late

wife, Nancy, who was a beautiful, smart, and accomplished lawyer. Nancy and Dick shared many values, including a strong belief in God and a conviction that students who work hard to achieve their goals should be rewarded. The Nancy Trefny Memorial Scholarship will be given each year to the recipients of the Billings Central Catholic High School Lumen Christi Award.

The Lumen Christi (Light of Christ) Award winners are selected by BCCHS staff members and fellow students. The Lumen Christi Awards are given to students who consistently demonstrate

a Christ-like example in service, leadership, generosity, compassion and integrity.
