The pasive voice make with the verb to be + participe (participio)

They made this car in 1.963

La voz pasiva / The pasive voice

Presente Simple : am / are / is + participio

Presente Continuo : am / are / is being + participio

Futuro (will) : will be + participio

Futuro (going to) : am / are / is going to + participio

Pasado Simple : was / were + participio

Pasado Continuo : was / were being + participio

Presente Perfecto : have / has been + participio

Pasado Perfecto : had been + participio

Futuro Perfecto : will have been + participio

Para decir quien hacía la acción o que le causaba se usa el “by”

This house was built by my mother

¿Cuándo debemos usar la voz pasiva?

When should we use the pasive?

1.- When we want to change the focus of the sentence

2.- When who a what causes the action is unknowm or uninmportant or obvious or people in general.

3.- In factud or scientific writing

4.- When the subject is very long

5.- In formal writing ustead of moing someone / people / they

6.- In order to put the new information. The end of the sentence to improve style
