1972 Kerala Solvent Extraction Limited entered in the solvent industry.
Dr. P. S. Lokanathan Committee set up to study the feasibility of starting new industry.
Started in Irinjalakuda.The last 3 decades has seen KSE emerging
as leader in solvent extraction and ready mixed cattle manufacturing in the country.

LIMITATIONS OF THE STUDY
The study was done with the limited details given by the officers.
It is difficult to get more details from the employees, as they are busy with their works.
The time was limited for a deep study and analysis of the organization.
Many official documents cannot reveal by the management.

VEDAGIRI Unit commenced on August 17th 1996 with a very modest objective to provide the right product at the right time to the farmers, particularly in the rural areas.
The plant is situated at Vedagiri, near Ettumannur in Kottayam district Kerala
The plant is most sophisticated and the finest in the country.
Utilization highly advanced technological features this unit makes a new chapter in the cattle feed.
