    Basic functions and operationStart-up

KROSS Editor From the KORG-KROSS folder, start up the KROSS Editor.Note: When you start up the editor, the KROSSs programs and other settings can be loaded

automatically (see p.32 Software Setup (Initial settings for the KROSS Editor)).

Dont touch the keyboard or the mouse of your computer while data is being sent or received.

Windows XP / Windows Vista / Windows 7 Access the KORG folder from the taskbar via [Start] [All Programs].Windows 8.1KROSS Editor is located in the palette.

Mac OS XThe KORG folder is located in the Applications folder.

KROSS Plug-In EditorFor details on starting-up the KROSS Plug-In Editor, refer to the section for your host applica-tion in KROSS Plug-In Editor setup (see p.8).

Note: When you start up the editor, the KROSSs programs and other settings can be loadedautomatically. (see p.32 Software Setup (Initial settings for the KROSS Editor))

Dont touch the keyboard or the mouse of your computer while data is being sent or received.

About the Preload dataStart up the KROSS Editor, and execute the Receive All command to load all data into the KROSS Editor. Then save this data to a file as preload data. If you then create settings so that this data file is automatically loaded when you start up the KROSS Editor, the start-up time will be shortened because you wont need to load the data from the KROSS. (see p.32 Soft-ware Setup (Initial settings for the KROSS Editor))
