Announcements
Your Annie Armstrong and/or CBF Global Missions Offerings will be accepted throughout the month of March. Envelopes for both Missions can be found in the pews. Fill the Barrel - Today is Fill the Barrel Sunday. Please help us fill the barrels with non-perishable food items for the UMC Food Pantry! These items are in high demand for our neighbors and they need our help! A shopping list can be found in the vestibule. YMT Meeting - Today at 4:00 PM in the Conference Room. Preschool Board Meeting - Monday, March 23rd at 7:00 PM in the Conference Room. Spread the NEWS - Saturday, March 28th at 10:00 AM. We will gather at the upper parking lot and form teams to go together to pass out flyers about KBC and the Easter services to our neighbors. We will take time to talk and spread the Word about KBC. At 12:30 PM we will meet at Chick-fil-A for lunch and talk about our experiences. Please come join us and help spread the NEWS! KBC Spring Bazaar Committee Chair Meeting - There will be a meeting Monday, March 30th at 7:00 PM in the Conference Room for the sub-committee chairs. If you are not a sub-committee chair and have any suggestions or ideas, please email Lois McCoy before the meeting at [email protected]. KBC Spring Bazaar Needs - As part of our Bazaar in May, we will be having a plant sale along 2nd Avenue that morning. If you have some perennials in your yard that need to be divided, now is the time to dig them up and divide them into pots. Please consider bringing some of those potted perennials to our plant sale that Saturday. With everyone’s help, we can have a wonderful array of beautiful plants to sell at the Bazaar. If you have any questions about the plant sale, please contact DeAnne Talley at 919-217-8076. Operation Christmas Child - We have a unique volunteer opportunity during the spring break to bless children around the world. April 6th starting at 9:00 AM, our church family has the opportunity to prepare shoeboxes that will show God’s love in countries where it can be difficult to proclaim the Gospel. They have 37,000 boxes to be processed in just 4 days. If interested, please contact Terri Lucas by March 27th. Youth Mission Trip - The mission trip will be at Ridgecrest in North Carolina. MFUGE is the name of the trip and is put on by Lifeway. The youth went on an MFUGE trip three years ago to Greenville, SC and had a great trip. They worshipped, played, met new friends, and served those in the community. This year’s trip should prove to be impactful both for the youth and for those we will serve. Please pray now for this opportunity. Backpack Buddies - Thank you ALL for the ongoing food donations you provide for Backpack Buddies. The weekend meals are going to children at Knightdale Elementary School who might otherwise have little or no food from Friday until they return to school

KBC Holy Week Services
This year, given the attendance from years past, the Knightdale Ministry
Alliance has elected to allow each congregation to worship together as we
choose. As such, KBC will offer a Maundy Thursday Service on April 2nd.
Northside and KUMC will each host their own Good Friday services should you
wish to attend. On Easter Sunday, we will gather for worship at our normal
hours.
Maundy Thursday (Holy Thursday) – Thursday, April 2nd, at 7:00 PM.
Easter Sunday – Sunday, April 5th. There will be a special Easter Egg Hunt for
the children during the Sunday School hours starting at 9:45 AM.
