Leader: Jesus said, “Feed my sheep.” There were no conditions.

People: Least of all, Feed my sheep if they deserve it …

Feed my sheep if you feel like it …

Feed my sheep if you have any leftovers …

Feed my sheep if the mood strikes you …

Feed my sheep if the economy’s okay …

Feed my sheep if you’re not too busy …

Leader: No conditions … just “Feed my sheep.”

People: Could it be that God’s kingdom will come when each lamb

is fed?

Leader: We who have agreed to keep covenant are called to feed sheep ...

People: … even when it means the grazing will be done on our own

front lawns.

Thank You

On behalf of the American Red Cross and, more importantly, the patients and families that depend on your efforts, thank you! We are proud to have you on our team – the largest volun-teer team in the world! Twenty-eight people were presented to donate; one was a first time donor and 25 productive units were collected. The note is on the bulletin board in the Education Building.

Announcements

KBC Spring Bazaar Plant Sales - We will be taking pre-orders for 3 gallon Double Red Knockout roses. Each one sells for $20.00. All orders must be placed by Friday, May 1st to ensure availability. Other colors may be available, including Sunny Knockout, Pink Knockout, and White Knockout (although the white is not a true knockout, it is a good bloomer, just more susceptible to black spot). Please ask if you are interested in these colors and I will inquire as to availability. All orders need to be placed with DeAnne Talley at 919-217-8076 or at [email protected]. Thank you for your support! Town of Knightdale Community Day - Saturday, April 25th from 1:00-8:00 PM at Knightdale Station Park Amphitheater. Enjoy local acts, entertainment, music, inflatables and food trucks during the day. The event will be followed by “Movie Night” to kick-off at 8:00 PM. KBC will be participating with a 34’ obstacle inflatable for the kids to enjoy. We will have a table set up with information about the various church programs. If you would like to have your group involved contact Robin Farrington or Cathy Maynard. Youth Sunday - Sunday, April 26th will be our annual Youth Sunday. Baptist Children’s Home – The youth are sponsoring a work day on Saturday, May 2nd at the Baptist Children’s Home at Oak Ranch in Sanford. We will help clean and fix up the home, so bring your tools and your elbow grease. All ages are welcome. We would love to see a multi-generational effort combined to make this a successful outreach and relational opportunity. The workday will last from 9:00 AM until 12:00 PM. A free lunch is provided. Pay attention to the announcements for a time to meet at KBC and carpool there. Backpack Buddies - Thank you ALL for the ongoing food donations you provide for Backpack Buddies. The weekend meals are going to children at Knightdale Elementary School who might otherwise have little or no food from Friday until they return to school Monday morning. We need lots of kid-friendly non-perishable food items to maintain this ministry (a grocery list can be found in the vestibule for you to take home). The food collection bins are located in the Education Building and the vestibule of the Sanctuary. Thank you again for supporting this ministry. Deacon’s Meeting - Monday, May 4th at 7:00 PM in the Conference Room. Properties Committee Meeting - Thursday, May 7th at 7:00 PM in the Conference Room. Tub of Love - Undie Sunday, May 10th.
