E: symbol for protection against explosion according to ATEX standards.

II: devices of group II are permissible for use in environments outside mining.

2: Category 2 means adaption to zone 1 of explosiveness. These are locations where explosive atmospheres can occur

regularly; this means 10-1000 h per year. These are e.g. fi lling stations, environments of tanker or working pits for motor-

cars.

G: with permission for gases and vapours.

Ex: with permission for use in surroundings with explosive atmosphere.

ib: class of protection. ib = intrinsically safe. The circuits of the lamp will neither in regular function nor in case of failure

produce any sparks that can ignite an explosive atmosphere.

IIC: The lamp has permission for explosives class IIC and may be used, when gases of this class are present, e.g.

hydrogen, vapours of fuel or acetylene.

T4: The lamp has permission for temperature class T4. It may not be used when gases are present that will ignite below 135 °C.

Forehead tape KS-5525 for all lamp models

With the forehead tape KS-5525 all lamps can be carried easily on the head wherever a helmet is not needed. The forehaed tape

is provided with an additional central tape that runs over the head and ensures a safe fi x. The double adjustability allows a fi t on

nearly all head sizes.

The helmet ribbon KS-5526 is made from the forehead tape and four additional polymer hooks. With the helmet ribbon KSE-LIGHTS

lamps can be carried centrally on nearly all helmets, where a durable fi x of lamp holders is not possible. The adjustability of the hooks

guarantees an optimized fi tting of the helmet ribbon. The hooks can easily be removed, when the helmet ribbon is used as a forehead

tape. They are very fl exible, so that the helmet ribbon can safely be mounted on helmets with thick shells, e.g. on military helmets.

KSE-LIGHTS-Lampholder KS-5528

Lampholder KS-5528 The lamp will not fall out. KS-5528 mounted on a wall

The lampholder is made from glass fi bre reinforced nylon. It has two slides for the metal clamp of the lamp and a safety clip, that prevents the lamp falling out.To pull the lamp out of the holder, the safety clip must be pressed down at fi rst. The lamp can not be taken out before this is done. The holder will keep its shape to at least 200 °C.The lampholder can fi xed easily with four little screws on nearly every helmet. We recommend that check you with the producer of the helmet in advance if the fi x of the screw-type holder is possible. The holder is also well suited to fi x a lamp either in a car or on wall.

Tips for use- For fi xing drill two holes of 4 mm into the helmet. Insert the rivet with white back from the inside of the helmet and connect it with the opposite rivet from the side of the holder.- Please take care that the opposite rivet will not block the way for the lampholder.

The aluminium lamp holder is used in mines to fi x lamps on the helmet. The fi tting on the helmet will not build conductive connection into the interior of the helmet. Please check with the producer of the helmet in advance to ensure that the the fi xing of the aluminium holder is possible. The use of the aluminium holder is possible on all Schuberth industrial safety helmets. The approval for the helmets will not be invalidated!

Fall-out protection KS-2150 KS-2150 opened with regular holder Lamp secured at miners helmet

The fall-out protection KS-2150 is an addition to the regular lamp holder. It was developed to prevent lamps from falling off the aluminium socket on worker‘s helmets. The fall-out protection KS-2150 is be mounted together with the regular holder of the lamp. The holder ist shifted into the clip of the helmet and the fall-out protection is folded down.
