Kansas Dance Academy has been serving the Wichita and surrounding areas for over 28 years with qual-ity dance instruction. Our caring staff, and top notch children’s programs have made KDA one of the most respected studios in the area. With our new facilities, we continue to provide not only the best instruction and organization in Wichita, but also the finest in dance facilities.

Our Main Objective is to help our students achieve a positive attitude, develop coordination and bal-ance, improve dance techniques and help them achieve their fullest potential. KDA also has one of the finest performing companies in Dance Theater for Young People (DTYP) which will from time to time perform at local schools, events and dance workshops. Each year in May-June, KDA dancers perform in our annual per-formance, and year after year the performance gets bigger and better. KDA has created its own renditions of Beauty and the Beast, Wizard of OZ, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Little Mermaid, The Lion King and many, many more. This show is enjoyed by students, parents and many others.

Staff Members are chosen for their maturity, enthusiasm, ability to communicate, teach and care for our students. We not only offer classes in ballet, jazz and tap; and we also offer Tae Kwon Do through Kim’s Academy of Wichita.

Our Facilities, located near Central and Woodlawn in east Wichita, are the finest dance facilities in the area. We have FOUR spacious dance studios. We are very proud of our programs, staff and facilities. Come and check us out!

Summer ‘2014 Rules & Policy Dance classes will run for 8 weeks beginning June 9th and ending July 31st. During the summer. Makeup’s are available for vacations. Once you begin a class you are responsible for the full session payment. 1st payment is due the first lesson unless you are taking 2 or more classes. 2nd payment is due July 7th. There is a $5- registration fee for new students only, and it is non-refundable. Continuing students are asked to pay a $10- deposit that will be deducted from your class fee. We offer discounts for 2 children or more in dance. A registration card must be filled out by a parent or guardian and registration paid before your child may begin a class.
